Those who have played the game since CS beta, are probably used to it because that was the only orientation available at the time (original coder for CS was left handed, or so I've heard). Others that did so after in the 1.3 - 1.6 era (or whenever right handed got introduced), were copying pros who did it for the above reason and eventually got used to it. | ||

Well one of the explanations is that it matters if you're "right-eyed" or "left-eyed" person (terrible wording, i know). Let me explain. Some people have "stronger" right eye, meaning they see more or better on it, while other have on their left eye. So when someone is holding a gun on the left side it can actually mean that their left eye is more dominant and gun on the left side doesn't obstruct their vision that much and they can see more. I saw a great video explaining this much better, but i can't remember it atm. I wish there was a better way (that doesn't rely on your view model) for throwing that second smoke but it's surprisingly tricky to get right and I haven't found an easier alignment so far. | ||

When you throw the first smoke, its better to start aiming from left side of the right chimney (instead center of that chimney).
