Sucks for you though. Tit for tat. no yeah i agree i did turn it off, so it worked in that sense. But when ive turned it off its just mindnumbingly annoying to have to refresh, wait for page to load, wait for stream to load, click play on stream and wait for a poor 360p stream to turn on, then wait a minute for it to change to a higher quality
only to have it freeze on me again a couple rounds later at most.

It's like this microsoft add on twitch that froze my player every damn time. I'm like shut up and take my ad view, but it just won't.

Is it only at such a long range you find this problem? because this screenshot is so small it's hard to see where the bullets are landing. Comparing the pictures, your crosshairs never moved (is this also an issue you're trying to bring up?). If it's only a long range issue, then it's intended. CSGO has a set long range inaccuracy associated with every gun. Some obviously more than others (ie pistols vs cheap rifles vs expensive rifles vs sniper rifles).
They also changed the way bullet spread is calculated. Before, bullet spread was determined client side, but now they made it server side. It helps in eliminating those no recoil/no spread cheats, and avoids the people seeing blood, but not register any hits/damage to the person. Because of this, I've noticed there's some slight variation between where your client registers the shots, and where the server registers the shots when you spray, shown by blue/red dots in slightly different locations.

It looks like you are aiming for the neck.
|
@nagi: it's mostly on long ranges, but also on medium ones (eg mirage A site. i was next to boxes, guy was on stairs and althugh only his head was visible and i had my crosshair on it it wouldn't hit him). i would understand if it was on long, but it also appears on other distances :/ just had another case where i was on mirage, cart near b site, and he was ct corner. i had crosshair right on his head, but nope.
@zzd: yeah, on second look these do look like neck, but i assure you i aim for the head

Looks like neck to me as well.

TakeTV's A split tournament is online. Tune in! :p www.twitch.tv/TakeTV (also, if somebody who knows how the calender works could add the tourney to the TL calender maybe?)
Also, another de_train smokes video for B bombsite this time:

@Kotreb, your 3 links all link to the same page. Anyways I don't get what you are trying to show in those pics other than that you aren't aiming for heads.
|
nihil asked me for those. ok, i swear to god ingame it shows that i'm aiming for the head. Yes, here it's clear that it's neck, but ingame it does show that i'm aiming for the head. how is this possible?
|
I think the problem is that the hitbox for the head in csgo is basically the nose and up. So when you want to aim for the head, you aim for the forehead, not the mouth.

If what you see on the screenshots doesn't reflect what you see ingame, you indeed must have a big issue with the game or your monitor.. Or your eyes? :D I don't even know how this could happen

When i look at the pictures now i can see it's aiming for the neck, but when i took those i was aiming for the head. It wouldn't make sense for me to bitch about problem but aiming at the neck intentionally. And like i said, it happens on short distances (eg: mirage; cart near B to CT corner near ruins) so idk.
Maybe i should try using different video settings? Can someone, who doesn't have a problem with this, post their video settings and crosshair (just in case it's somehow crosshair thing)? I would be much obliged.

I believe you, but it's just incredibly weird; because the picture could be warped, I.E. the head too big and such, but there is no way the crosshair wouldn't be in the right place. For the record I'm playing on all low, but I doubt this has anything to do with your video settings. I guess you could try to entirely delete the game and re download it..

Maybe try to widen your crosshairgap? Enough that you can see the head right in the middle of the gap. Because with that crosshair, I find it hard to exactly pinpoint where you are aiming.

It's actually so much fun to play against bad CS players. Outplaying hordes of enemies makes you look like a god in the eyes of your team and always is a great adrenaline rush.
