I think Dreamhack made the right decisions in the end, as the second half definitely had to be replayed. Fnatic played their cards right in the end, and got a whole map out of it, they basically forced it upon Dreamhack. It does feel a bit unfair because the difference between the amount of exploitation on both sides was so big, and LDLC was worthy of that 12-3 lead, but the biggest concern is to have a fair and square tournament, hence the decision to play the whole map anew (in a more fair environment) is the best.

The more glaring issue is Flusha obviously using the aimlock hack. I don't like to partake in witch hunting, but seriously... he uses it in live tournaments with thousands of people observing every move, and doesn't even try to hide it.

He is not cheating. I've yet to see any gifs / clips of the DH tournament where flusha cheats. All of the ones i've seen are clearly people trying to witchhunt and have very little to them other than coincidence.
And i am not saying the gifs we saw last week are no fishy because those are. But people are trying way too hard to find something now.

Yeah, his cursor just happens to snap to the head of an enemy he can't see or possibly hear even when he has teammates covering the route they'd come from. Nothing fishy at all.

Snapping is a very big word. To me he was just swiping and his cursor happened to hover in the general direction of someone.

Plus, people are forgetting that the security around the whole cheat thing is pretty high at dreamhack. You would have to go extremely far to actually cheat. And it would be a suicide to do so when everyone is scrutinizing you to begin with.
Furthermore, who would be stupid enough to allow your cheat to track through walls after all the discussions that happened those last weeks.

Consider how much CSGO has been growing recently and with all drama going around, I'm 99% certain that Valve took extra precaustions before this event

Dreamhack did, and they are all public.
No phones, cfgs have to be sent before the tourny, no internet on the computers, no access to steam cloud, mouse, keyboards and headsets have to be validated (some mouses where banned) etc..

It calls their procedures into question if they changed the rules without telling anyone in such a way that just happened to benefit one team exploiting a flaw in a map's design.

To be honest, the biggest problem with the CZ is, that spraying is so much stronger in GO because of hitboxes and stuff. Other pistols feel really weak in the regard of going in with confidence to give that oponent an insta head shot.
