Are there any beta keys lurking?
I got a friend who really wants to play it.
I do miss silencers in general in the game tbh. But now im used to the new m4 i actually kinda like it. I think they ahve made the diff between it and the ak a bit bigger but you can still land a 3 round burst in someones face with the m4
I find footsteps to be accurate direction wise ... btu you can hear footsteps from miles way and they are all really loud.
Eg dust you can be crouched by the arch by bombsite a as ct and hear people walking on the ledge in site b. He then walked on sand and i thought he was at doors.
am out of practise though so cant really remember what cs or css would sound like in those spots.
Hash you say samne maps again but css didnt ship with inferno, nuke or train.
Would be really good to see maps like mill and dare i say even contra in it tho.

I've heard that they will be putting silencers into the game, but I can't confrim with evidence or anything...only 2nd hand. And yeah, footsteps seem to be loud as fuck.
Hopefully we get some newly created *legit* maps. Would be a lot of fun learning some new shit.

I have played about 17 hours so far. I played a lot of CS:S, also @ESL and random tourneys. So far I really like CS:GO a lot, the molotov brings new tactical measures. 15$ is a really really good price for this game!

How does everyone feel about the recoil thus far? Need a little tweaking? Good where its at?

Headshots feel too easy to pull off and spraying doesn't feel quite right, but it's still very good nonetheless.

Yes or alternativley if you don't know if you will like it the beta makes sense for those that don't like just burning money.
Kind of annoyed that after buying and getting a beta key i didnt have 1 to give away tbh.
Hes a bf2 nut that had a problem with css. So it really is a try before you buy thing.
Yeah im stuck for cs:go community websites also. Well out of touch - I havent even tried finding a decent irc chan for pickups.
Re headshots: they seem easy for other people at massive range. Beginning to think my eyes are going.

I'm really liking this game a lot but the only thing thats bothering me is how easy the awp is to use. I don't like the fact that when i see players going deep in the negative because they cant play good just pick up an awp and go on small killing spree's here and there. Also getting a headshot seems a little too easy as well.

play on a competitive game type where people normally only have enough money to buy an awp once maybe twice if they're good per match.

Play classic, not casual. Although there are less rounds so it's hard to get an awp in casual..

Casual gives you more bounty (?) and there's no need to buy kit or body armor so it would be easier, wouldn't it?

hahaha I like this game. Almost all guns are OP! But still as an old school player.. my choices only revolves around AK-47, M4 
But I've noticed that the following guns are pretty good as well.. Shotguns, UMP-45 and the most imba gun would be p250! :D

Anyone know what graphic settings should be at? I mean in SC2 pros put some of their graphics set to low, anything similar i CS:GO?
