Galil felt normal, but once I logged enough hours for my mind to stop registering everything as "compared to 1.6..." and accepted it as completely new patterns, I dig the ak bursts a lot. Galil can't do shit to people in scrims with proper rifling. I do agree though, I buy Galil if I'm going for entry frags on my spawn, because it's friendly to spray. | ||

Top2: 1. You can see a split second mirage of a player who is behind the wall, like you see him in front of you for a split second while he is still behind the corner and coming to you. Maybe its because of client/server settings. Legal wallhack ftw. 2. You can get stuck on some map doodads, last time i got stuck on wall and couldnt move. To list of thing i DONT like : 1. Weapons drop at random places, a specially frustrating when you rush with pistol on eco round and you basically rely on killing opponent and obtaining his weapon. Coupled with long weapon animations/reloads its pretty inefective ![]() The most hilarious thing was when someone dropped a grenade on a weapon it jumped away 20 meters... thats not really fun... Also some weapons are incredibly hard to spot, you have to pay incredible atention to catch deagle for example (wish it was silver deagle like in 1.6). | ||

I find it harder to locate my crosshair and put it on someones head, cause the graphic is so much richer in details. I still haven't found my ideal graphic settings, Im the guy that finds less is more. But the weapons, hitboxes and the feel of the game is very promising. You should play around with the cl_crosshair settings, in 1920x1080 the crosshair is super thin, but with cl_crosshairthickness 1 or something it's way better, it really look likes 1.6's (with the classic crosshair of course, not the new weird one). Someone asked about the spray patterns, they are 100% predictable, the videos someone posted some pages ago show it. Totally agree with bgx about weapons drop by the way. It's ridiculous, if someone gets killed by big caliber headshot and his body ragdolls a bit far away, you can't just walk on it and drop your weapon to pick his, the weapon can be 10 meter away, and furthermore if an HE expodes nearby the weapons take off to the other end of the map... I just wish they would fix the visibility issues at long range, the HE damage and the weapon drops. The game is really cool otherwise. | ||

Has been mentioned before, but if you don't buy kelvar and helmet, your going to die so fast its unreal (coming from competitive deufse mission gameplay) Also huge problem with freeking ping on the quick play servers :S Last week (August 10th and before) i was getting around 10-20 ping on a server, my standard i get on my server i play on CS:S, now last week (12th-19th) i'm getting 80-100, and i find that crap un playable, anything above 40 is unplayable imo and that needs to be addressed fast. Many people have been warping on 50+ ping i have noticed. I agree with the cross hair issue above as well, old cs 1.6/css crosshairs are completely un viable and you will not be using those anymore, and the new crosshair (default in settings) is not that clear, you need to alter graphics settings so you can always see the crosshair or you wont see people in it. Also my standard bitch, fkn AWP is so op it's not even funny lol. I mean on 1.6 and CS:S you did'nt have to aim that near to them for the kill, but this AWP wow, you don't even have to aim within 6ft of the target! it's stupid, and so frustrating xD Also i think they need to add a mixture of Comeptitve mission system, so you can do both defuse and hostage. On my CSS server we have mixture of maps, i think it should be compettive to do both hostage and defuse so you can experience all the maps. | ||
