for me as cs veteran who never played css its an ok game. i think it will take some time to know the new "camp" spots and get familiar with the hole trash everywhere. | ||

you can verify its loaded by typing a var without a value in the console to see if its loaded ie if you launch the game, type "rate" in console, the console should return "rate 80000" to you if it didnt, it didnt load the config file, might be related to the bug the poster was talking about also the command is 'exec autoexec' in console to load it | ||

Well yeah but in the 'find match' scrim mode not everybody talks on the mic and even if its a pub, players should still have to learn map awareness. I admit its not quite as stupid as the COD rader, but its an uneccesary change IMO. I also wish I could shut the minimap off and have it just be a plain green rader. The minimap makes me 2nd guess stuff because it looks kinda confusing trying to tell exactly what wall somebody might be behind making me play less safe. | ||

Just use play on community servers, then you can sort them by lowest ping. I'm sure most of the servers Valve is hosting for quick games are gonna be in the US, so you're probably better off finding European servers | ||

1 - How do I communicate with other people ingame? Tried enter, ~, esc, whatever, couldn't find it. 2 - I just logged off a server where it seems I was the only one who could not buy weapons. Tried B -> F1, B -> clicking on the items I wanted, nothing worked. Why? | ||

1. In addition to the mic, you can type-chat with y. For team type-chat, it's u by default. 2. If you queued for Demolition or Arms Race, you can't buy guns. If it was Classic, you may not have had enough money. If it was Classic Competitive, you can't buy the Zeus. Edit: As he said  | ||
