Does ducktapping a X in the middle of my monitor help? cause I keep having a hard time seeing the crosshair light green is difficult to see, is there anyway to change the crosshair to black?

Very constructive, I love your points and reasons for not playing.
(In reality: give it a try)

just ignore these people. lots of europeans(im guessing with really really shitty computers) are still obsessed with 1.6 because the pro scene is still strong in europe(and nowhere else) so they want to keep the monopoly they have on cs and team fps. What they seem to forget(or pretend to forget) was that during the golden days of cs, teams from all over the world competed for the top spots including many american teams. They dont want that to happen again and will do anything to bring csgo down. Not even worth responding to past this post.
Edit: I apologize, dude is from brazil, another country with a relatively strong 1.6 scene.

Sorry if I'm annoying you guys, but could anyone link to a guide on what you can do with the autoexec file and so on? I fail to find one and looking for it in about 120 pages takes too damn long when you want to play the game!

Computer power is irrelevant, my country doesn't have a 1.6 scene at all anymore and just a small source one. But I still think this game is shit compared to source and especially shit compared to 1.6. Everything from the gunplay to the weapons are just..shit, should probably ellaborate further but the word shit just fits so perfectly. It just feels like they are trying to go a little bit more mainstream at the same time as they stay 'true' this will fail because "chase two rabbits and you will catch neither" CoD players won't play it because its not killstreaks and shit!! Counter strike players wont play because its just shit. <_< I just don't see how this will be successful.

Sadly the word 'shit' does not fit perfectly at all, because it does not say anything about CS:GO other than you don't like it, because you don't like it.

Yeah, dude, your argument is terrible. Ive played cs since the very beginning almost and every single update that was ever released there are people like you who cant say anything but "shit". This game is so fun, and actually very similar to 1.6. Also dare I say, more difficult as well now that the maps arent like 2 colors with nothing but square edges. *GASP* maybe you have to learn some new tricks...... UH OH!

I said pro scene. Does brazil have a pro scene? Not really...but they def have and have always had a strong cs 1.6 community. Your from sweden, the hotbed of 1.6, you should know better than anyone else.

Can't tell if serious. All you do is say shit over and over again. I feel like you've never even played 1.6 if you say this game is nothing like it. It's way closer to 1.6 than source. CoD players won't play it because crouch spraying doesn't work. Sorry you didn't like it but that post is the only thing "shit" on this page.

My shoots never seem to hit the target. You could load an offline game with "Harmless Bots", or even Easy Bots, because they're still pretty terrible, but one will eventually kill you. bot_add_ct bot_add_t Those are the commands you can enter into console to make it so it's like 1v15, then just work on popping heads like balloons, work on spraying down the bots, and practice your movement around the maps: learning to avoid boxes as you round a corner, strafing through the double doors without getting hung up, throwing grenades over walls and through tight spaces. Bots are the best kind of practice, as they provide moving targets and don't normally 1shot you as they round the corner. How do you remove bots? I want to set up giant 1 vs The World matches to work on my aim but when I start the game it gives to full teams. Edit: bot_kick 'name' works, but once the round completes, the teams even out again. What am I doing wrong.. I am pressing play offline with bots and entering random games, but alas!

In the options there are different colors. or you could use the cl_crosshaircolor 5, cl_crosshaircolor_r, cl_crosshaircolor_g, and cl_crosshaircolor_b variables from the console to make your own color (like purple or pink). closest to black would be to put each color variable at 1, though in dark areas that's gonna be hard to see.
