When covered by shadows (which is about 40% of the maps), it is very hard to differenciate terrorists from CTs. The terrorists tend to have some really dark outfits that just look like a CT when seen from a distance. I don't' play with friendly fire for this reason and that's a shame :/ I do love the radar/map on the top left, very easy to set "ambushes" when one guy can spot the opponents

With a 1.0, you'll have the same mouse sensitivity when using a rifle as when using a zoomed-in awp, and by changing this value you change the relative sensitivity. Just change it to some huge number and you'll probably notice the difference.

Pixels != radians and therefore the axial sensitivity or cm/360° rotation will be the same regardless of what resolution your monitor is (whether it's 800x600 or 1920x1200). For this and other considerations regarding sensitivity (like zoom_sens), see the CPI, Player Sensitivity and Game Environments section in my Mouse Technology thread.

I mean, I miss the 'ol "5v5 || Our GameDaemons || CAL-M || East || gogogo||" script, but in game ELO with matchmaking? I realize this feature is standard on, oh, every game now but come on! This is amazing for CS! Getting instaqueue scrims against equal opponents all day (one ELO's stabilize)? This is awesome!

Without silencer, I just don't see the point- I'll rarely use this weapon because of my next two points - AUG: Buffed to be absolutely worth the price increase over the M4. The spray pattern is tight and predictable, it bursts up to around 4 shots reliably and med/long range. I probably won't use the scope very much, but this is *the* new battle rifle for me. - SCAR-H: Wow. Absolutely viable in ranked play. I was able to get multiple 3 and 4 kills and one ace with this gun. This could be largely in part due to people not being able to 1AK me from long range yet, but it felt borderline OP. With good nades/spam, I could see this being added to a standard buy round alongside your teams AWP on maps like train, inferno, or nuke. -P2000: Garbage, miss my USP. Didn't try the P250. -P90: Hugely buffed, felt fairly usable... probably not in a match except on a small map or doing something like pushing apts on inferno T: Tec9: Very solid saveround/pistolround weapon. Perhaps even better than deagle for a pistolround buy. Incredible in those long pistol battles, where everyone is reloading except you. Solid accuracy and damage, loved it. AK: Feels much stronger than the M4. Not used to the second burst yet- I shoot in bursts of two, and have come to "expect" my opponent to be dead on the second burst. Not so, quite yet. Perhaps I need to wait just a tick longer between bursts. Additionally, the shotties range buff makes them feel actually usable situationally. The person playing lower inside on train got a few shottie kills, and I would assume something like pushing apartments on inferno or inside on train would work. That is garbage. M4 is fine, l2p. P2000 is fine, l2p. AUG is rubbish, obv. No pistol is better than the deag. P90 is still a retard gun. ScarH, I haven't tried since I don't use garbage guns. CS is a game that was designed for only a few guns to be viable, no matter the buffs of other weapons the same fact stands. None of this, make everyone happy even the dribbling retards bullshit which every game now has to cater for since fucking casual trash players ruin every game. Sadly they seem to have opened this game up more for shitters, however skilled players will always dominate scrubs no matter the weapons. AWP, deag, ak, m4. They are always going to be your core guns, other weapons are only for 2nd round buys when you double in triple in round 1.

AUG is significantly better than M4 now, sorry that your obsession with 1.6 is getting in the way of having a moderately open mind. There's no chance that new map design, weapon changes, and gameplay changes have affected purchase orders and metagame at all right? ...These kids...

These are the results (leftmost point (0) is the origin point for all shots): ![]() 0 = fully zoomed out (normal sens), 1 = scope zoom 1, 2 = scope zoom 2 I'm not exactly sure what this means, but it looks like that a zoom_sens of 1 essentially halves (or is close to) your overall sensitivity? The main take away point is that a value of 1 does not retain your unscoped sensitivity. You can however change your zoom sensitivity in the console (zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse) to higher values, 2.5 is pretty close to the normal sens from what I tested. P.S. Valve, I would like to know what the multiplier is plz...I don't like non-specific numbers.

You haven't followed the CS:GO dev since the very beginning right? They wanted people to try every gun available in the game, not only AK, M4, AWP, deagle and MP5 in 1.6, so they changed things around. If you can't tell the difference, you either have never tried all the guns in the game or are really terrible at shooting games.

Sensitivity is personal preference, for example, my current setup is 800CPI at 0.6 sens and a zoom_sens of 0.5 and that feels pretty good right now, but I'll likely tweak a bunch till it feels perfect.
