Lots of people do it wrong or don't give enough info but please for the sake of god just try at least. If they are annoying I can always mute them. I made the experience that, more often than not, people are at least trying if you yourself set a good example.

Hell, some are even pleasant surprises with people cheerful even when things go wrong, cracking jokes, mocking a stupid play like good friends would do, etc. yeah same, I get maybe 1 cancer game out of 10-15. Granted I play like 1 game a week. maybe its an issue at lower levels. Even when im rusty and having a bad game numbers wise, people have enough sense to realize im contributing in other ways.. baiting myself for trades etc etc..

With luck on youtube i found the recoil master, and boy, it really helped. So i just upped my small burst up a few notch in a very short time cuz of it. Ehh, but doing those long bursts is still really hard in a game, its like your body memory needs more practice in real games. I moved up a rank, i am rank legendary eagle or something right now. Anyway my small burst is still bad and i feel that thats still my biggest strength, or maybe i know how to play smart is mine, anyway, i am really low at hitting moving targets for example. Ye i have so much to learn still.

Otherwise, I might not know I'm playing with eastern euros. Sidenote: I really don't like playing with french people (unless they're personal friends of mine and even that may vary ![]() @Foxxan: I really got that feeling after carrying a few games in MM that landed me into LEM, thinking I was working my way up. Then with a few friends we started playing a bit more structured and looking for scrims on PCW, or just play in open Leagues like CEVO amateur or ESL Open. I discovered a new world, as brutally as taking a train at full speed in the face. We've encountered a lot of teams that could either break us just with their aim/individual skill, and a very small number that had the most amazing coordination when (re)taking sites I've ever faced. I remember a particular game on Cache, was holding A, and god damn they were good at taking A. I remember feeling powerless, and at the same time completely awestruck. That's the discovery that made me actually realise that you could get all the way up in global, and that would still be only the beginning if you want to be good.

It's all about mentality and attitude to be honest. Though I agree on not liking French players :D

basically teams owning a tournament went as predicted, they are forbidding their players from playing at competing tournaments even very large ones

However after the last major, I do have to say that I find the management of TLPro a bit questionable

Reading stuff like this, and realizing that the Liquid organisation is behind it... They have abandoned their roots to become just another org, with nothing special about it. Go back a couple of years and compare and people would joke about the Liquid Passion vs EG Money or something like that and look at where we are today... EG is now a player owned organisation, and Liquid is trying its damn hardest to fuck their players over. That's not the Liquid I supported when I bought their merchandise. This Liquid doesn't exists anymore, it's dead.

I'm MG1 currently and a good teamplayer, but I don't want to be a liability nor do I want it to be a waste of time/money. I've heard conflicting stuff so I thought i'd ask. I'm not sure when the best time is to join but I got esea when I was LE~. I didn't do too well for a while but the experience was better. I know a lot of people have joined since and generally lowered the level of play on there too. There is a ranking system in place now that will hopefully put you in the right games. You might drop pretty hard at first but idk tbh. I would try it out for a month just to see if you like it.

On the PEA stuff, that's indeed quite disheartening to see. I really hope the players manage to weigh in sufficiently to make the orgs and the association back out of that absolutely disgusting and terrible path. I really hope for positive actions from TLpro's part. Would be pretty disappointed otherwise, if not feeling a stronger negative sentiment....
