Phys reflect is OK for some builds that rely on lots of small hits... I think

But if I roll phys reflect, I run it with my arcer and if I roll ele reflect I run it with my cyclone char

So I finally managed to 5-link my CoD on Bloodlines after about 240 fusings. Quite happy that it finally worked out although the thought about the price is bitter. Next aim is a Doryani's Scepter but I don't think I will be able to make enough exalts by the time the league is going to end.^^ Especially because I probably have to buy a pack of 73 or 75 maps to be able to start rolling again.

I just died in a really stupid way. Had my smoke mine set for a strong box, some monsters ran onto my screen, killed them. Then I proceeded and wanted to open the strong box, noticed that the icon for my mine was disappearing in that moment but I still clicked. Devourers and bears spawned and killed me instantly. -.- First character since a long time where I'm really sad that I died. He hasn't payed off yet, I finally had my 5l CoD, clearspeed was awesome. T.T I guess that's it for this league. Dunno if I'm going to reroll because I don't have money and a build I'm really eager to play right now.

Lvl 85 half way to 86 btw. : /

Does anyone here have currency on standard (or a romiras banquet)? I was trying out a new build but I ripped, so now I'd like to just buy the rest of what I need on standard, the problem is that I only have gear and no currency, and people don't seem to be willing to trade items for items.

So if anyone here is willing to part with some currency, I'll sell you anything I have that's worth something for 30% cheaper than the cheapest similar item on poe trade.

THE DREAM. It happened, a well-rolled Shav's dropped into my lap during a rando 76 map last night. And now, I'm realizing my build knowledge ends where large piles of exalts begin. I'm running SRS at the moment, so considering selling for exalts and picking up a +3 fire gem 6L staff, or doing a build that requires shav's since this is likely the only time I'll have a shav's in poe. My worry about shav's builds is that they are generally expensive even aside from the shav's - if there is something better than SRS for end game I can make for shav's + 10 ex or so I'd probably do that since SRS is getting a little stale at lvl 89.

my playgroup has had 2 shavs drop this league (i know right), one of which i've had the privilege of testing a build with (softcore so no chance of me ripping it etc).

My personal advice would be to sell it since most of the builds that it enables do indeed cost exaltsssss on top of the shavs.

If you opt to do a build that isn't like "enabled" by shavs but rather enhanced (say low-life arcer instead of CI arcer), generally the tradeoff is 1 or maybe 2 extra auras/heralds and either pain attunement for spell builds or low-life blood rage bonus for attack builds in exchange for a low-ish ES chest, missing the es nodes behind CI, and not actually being chaos immune (kinda a big deal for spellcaster builds that could run bloodrage for free frenzy charges but can't without leech when on a shavs). So while the build generally has a fair bit better DPS (which could translate to spare points for survivability), it's usually not like 20++exalts of gear better than the CI version of it. Especially considering the innate survivability hit.

Wow congrats. That's the DREAM indeed. I'm still doing dailys every day in hope Tora sells Shav or Zana sells Mjölner, haha. So far only worthy buys were 2 rat's nest though. It dropping must be awesome... can't help you with builds, though.

You can put some pretty heavy auras on life if you use Prism Guardian; instead of costing 200% multi from Blood Magic gem, they will cost 75%. With a few reduced mana nodes from tree, you could run probably Clarity + 2 60%, then also reserve most of your mana (I use Alpha's Howl for this). Those two items are only a few ex more and then you can really do whatever you want. I recommend an attack build; with 6-7x auras (wrath hatred anger 3xherald ... + haste?) and bloodrage low-life bonus you will do a ton of damage without needing an exceptional weapon.

prism guardian and alpha's howl take up your 2 key ES slots outside of your chest and they both provide negligible amounts of es. Not ideal for hardcore builds especially when ur chest is capped at 450 ES which is already quite low.

Does anyone know how counter skills work with minions? Was thinking of some sort of SRS + Necro Aegis build if it works, seems like it could be pretty hilarious if (theoretically) each spirit has an independent cooldown.

I'd assume that it only functions when you are attacked since you are the one with the gem socketed. Even necromantic aegis grants the gem sockets in ur shield to u not ur minions.

aka theres no way that works.

The counter skills also generally use mainhand weapon as well which many (though not all) minions lack.

Well, facebreakers work with 2/3 skills (block and damage taken), so I think they should work with SRS. Aegis + cluster would give minions something like a 40% chance to block. The individual damage might be kinda low, though my thought was it would be a nice bonus to damage especially with so many minions. Links would be something like SRS-increased duration-minion damage, maybe throw out the block or damage taken one and add in another support gem as well.

I'm not sure if counter skills only actually work with your character since they're a trigger gem though.

Congrats. Finally after 4 leagues of grinding er :D. I might start again when a4 come out but I'm too burned out atm. Tbh torment was so like standard and it wasn't fun for me.

6L +3 staff cost like 30 ex though, where do you get that. I would vote for a BM windripper build but that might be too eexpensive and/or boring.

. Happened over christmas break. Now all I have to do is 6L it, which I've only done by 20% qualitying white items.

Today I went nolife in Torment and basically leveled up from 0 to 73. Why is this spirit challenge so hard? And why am I always finding Rogue spirit? Like 80% it's either Blasphemer or Rogue.

Also still need Divine shrine.

YOLOing through even reflect maps with GC, going heavy on flasks. Most people like fire but I like cold, freezing and shattering is so much fun. 44% Crit Chance even without Power Charges.

I also managed to ninja someone else's Ex. It's not my fault, I literally said 5 times that there was an Ex on the ground. No one gave a fuck. So I took it :D
