Encountered a 3rd one today and it's Untainted Paradise lol. Unfortunately it's filled with Devourer now which is hard as fuck and bluq is not replying my ingame pm right now. Most of the time the seller has no idea what the hell he's talking about. When looking for ammy/rings and see the price tag of 1-2 ex, 80% of those are 10c at max. The "I have no idea what it's worth so just put a ridiculous price for funzy" syndrome. A few rare times though, you encounter beauty like this for less than 3c ( re:subtle bragging ) ![]() | ||

I know point blank tracks how far the projectile travels so it's great with traps but chin sol says "100% more bow damage at close range" and I'm not sure how that is calculated or anything. The wiki doesn't seem to have any info on it. I wanna try chin sol/point blank/burning arrow prolif trap build. | ||

Basically chin sol + point blank = 4x dmg | ||

The cool thing to do last league was to get a 4L Chin Sol and put puncture trap pointblank and ICD. Then you swap for rares and have a super damage trap. Once you have a good enough harbinger it becomes pointless to swap, but it makes bosses fairly trivial when you're just getting into maps. Using Chin Sol at end game maps is pointless because the 100% more damage multiplier from the bow isn't better than good crit harbinger. The trap itself will always trigger when something walks over it. If a weapon attack is linked to the trap then it will roll your accuracy. | ||

Tons of ES + CI. Tons of ele/fire/bow/proj dmg (everything applies lol). All relevant trap nodes (trigger radius, fire pen, can't be damaged). Point Blank. Elemental Equilibrium. Resolute Technique. I can take zealots oath + 2% regen if I decide I need it. Links Main: BA/Chance to Ignite/Trap/Ele Prolif/Increased Burning damage (5l but really just 4l in deerstalkers till I get a 5L). 6L is probably WED. Could be fire pen or PPAD possibly. Equilibrium Trigger: Lightning Trap/Curse on Hit/Flammability/(chain/multitrap whichever is better at mass-triggering Elemental Equilibrium). I could try Coldsnap/Trap/CoH/Flam in order to defensively freeze/chill but then shattering fucks me over. Single Target: if I end up with a spare 5l (since bow + chest + deerstalkers lol) then sub out prolif for fire pen in a 2nd BA trap link. Auras: Discipline/Herald of Ash/Reduced Mana. Thats it I think. Maybe a low clarity in there but the build shouldn't be mana intensive. I don't need PoF for max res because I'm reflect immune. Misc: Probably the new blink arrow or w/e. maybe a culling/rarity link for lulz. Gear is just Chin Sol, Blackgleam, and then ES/Resist rares in every other slot. Which probably leaves me room for rarity on all my jewelry eventually ![]() ![]() Chance to ignite is 20% from BA, ~42% from C2I (44 at 20 i guess), 30% from tree (maybe 25 till very late), ~13% from flammability. Technically quality increased burning damage could be up to another 10% but i'm already over 100 so ![]() | ||

buuuut i'm not that hopeful lol. (trap gem = ~33%, PB = 50%, Chin Sol = 100%, EE + curse is definitely multiplicative even if not really a specific amount, WED/PPAD are multipliers 59/49 respectively). Plus fire/ele damage sort of double dipping, burns sort of being a more multiplier, and that new extra damage to burning/frozen/shocked target node being multiplicative in the way shocks are. There's a chance the build doesn't suck. Keep in mind it gets to spend the vast majority of the time doing safe things and is completely reflect immune. Plus it actually should have a huge ES pool. | ||
