Sometimes you need to focus on the right one ( necro raising skeleton hello ), and instead of focusing on the rare summoner, they just keep firing at the skeletons raised, and there's no way to address it. Keep summon totems near the one you wanna kill helps, but not much in pack of blue consist in 4+ necro. Hence the map takes forever sometimes. Also solo Vorci's mission is literally impossible with Ancestral Bond =/. | ||

There's no shame in doing softcore league for a while to feel out powercurves. | ||

Everything went smooth, but now i reached act 2 Mercilles and man my witch is squishy. I always played hardcore leagues so i always focused to survive and now i don't feel comfortable at all with my witch. What is the best way to not die as a witch? I know that max. resists are mandatory and i am also using AA. Thinking about getting high block chance with block chance to spells, but that will take some gear and nodes before i can rely on it. I have some life in my gear and took as many life nodes as i could and i am at 2,5k life which is not sufficient for mercilles. Any good tips will be much appreciated. I am not at home so i can not post the tree, but my question was towards general mechanics what people use to defend with as a witch. I can think of some options, but can't really decide what is the good way to go: - CI or not (good items for CI are more expensive to obtain, dream fragments and chayula are a must + RESPEC from life) - Evasion (many nodes to take for it to be effective and still die if get hit) - Block chance nodes + spell block - Acrobatics (too many points on tree to get there including spell dodge. Also -50% ES not viable with CI) - Cloak of defiance (can't run many auras) - CWDT? What setup Looking for general good tips on defense with a witch. Oh ok. - High Life/ES base - MoM or Cloak of Defiance is pretty common for HC casters, alongside with EB (you don't need many aura's as caster anyways) - Block/Spellblock is used and pretty strong, but more so for melees afaik - Grace+IR is a good combo to get your phys res up, alongside with Granite (with %armour on use) - general resist flasks, instant flasks - I'm not too familiar with current CwdT set ups (levels) but good combos imho are EC+IC, Ice Nova+Blind, Devouring Totem/Decoy Totem - Enfeeble helps immensly, selfcast or with CwdT to your likings (going dual/triple curse to maintain your -res curses at the same time is an option) - I saw acrobatics being used this league in HC, I'm personally not a fan of it in HC but at least Etup uses it in the top5 (alongside with Ondar's) so it's probably not that bad | ||

Do you have (high) life rolls on almost all of your gear? Some things you can add to any build are endurance charges (enduring cry), granite/jade flasks, CWDT with some combination of molten shell, immortal call, etc etc | ||
