I have a lvl 52 rampage char and a lvl 14 beyond char, not sure which one i'll be gridning this weekend but probably the softcore one on account of wanting to get to maps. I just wanna kill dom so I can get to ledge lol. My resists are 2-28-104 or something cuz all my good gear dropped lightning res  | ||

Ripped my first beyond character to a rubberband unfortunately but rolling a flame totem marauder now that seems pretty fun so far  . Pretty nice to not have to go out of my way to get a bajillion life nodes. | ||

If you were, I'd like to mention that there isn't really a lot of chaos damage in normal and even if you want to go heavy on ES on gear etc there's no real reason to skill the actual keystone CI until probably merciless IMO. | ||

Also playing Beyond and building tanky makes you (me) fail most of the master quests, who mostly seem like DPS races. EDIT: Just ripped at lvl 50 in Solaris Temple lvl 2 cruel. Well that was unexpected. Killed a very tanky Statue and had no flasks left and bam, 4 Beyond monsters pop up with chaos degen and stuff. I tried to Alt F4 and nothing happened, looks like it was the fault of myself alt tabbing.... I have that problem sometimes that when I alt tab it doesn't work anymore >_<. Well, was my first time trying to Alt F4 and then it didn't work, sigh haha. Gonna try something different tomorrow, I did like and not like my EK shadow. The dmg was pretty terrible (I decided to get lots of Life first and went to Scion Wheel) and I failed at most master quests. Plus having no Life regeneration was sort of exhausting. But I do feel like the char would have gotten sick damage later on, the critting was about to get really strong (and dangerous). If I wanna play something with (much) Life regeneration, it seems like I've gotta pick Duelist or Mara... hmm let's see. | ||

Anyone else feel the same? I'd say it feels the same. And just for clarification I guess, revived undead, summons and I would think ( cannot confirm ) fractured mobs do not spawn any portals. Strongbox packs do however. | ||
