This. In races in general, skipping + low HP (STUN) make more desyncs appear. In turbo races it's just absurd imho, I don't like them. I also have the feeling that desync hits harder in races in general. I run with a constant ping of 50 but I keep getting caught in random walls with leap slam while no enemies are around, leap into enemies and the hit appear half a second later (that's like having a ping of 500, not 50 o.O) and jumping into the middle of packs and nothing happens because the pack actually stays 1/4 screen offset from what is shown. It's really weird. It's also not always like that, sometimes it's really smooth in races and sometimes everything is desynced all the time.

RIP. ended up rolling solo and got first to Lower Sub, Ledge, Lower Prison, Upper Prison, Ship Graveyard, and Coves. Was 2 seconds behind the 1st Brutus kill. Started having issues at Merveil though, fight took 4 1/2 minutes and had a 28 min merv, she didnt drop enough rares for me to craft a wand, so I had to run sins without a +light gem wand or +fire gem, ended up crafting one off of fideletas, started to head to weaver but I died to hasted blue Devourers while I was punctured in the dark forest. was 11th overall when I ripped
cant believe helmans group got a 22 min merv, just absolute insane considering they were only 3-5 seconds ahead of me after Brutus. Leap Slam op

Wow i just won my 1st ever demigods in the 3h party race as a duelist. I was playing together with a friend rolling a Ranger but we never expected to get this kind of a result. I am kinda confused right now.

Its a belt with implicit +%25 increased rarity (new base type belt Golden Obi)
and explicit it has 10% character size like the other demigods and 21% All resistances. And no for now i am not in the guild because im running my own small guild with a few friends to get a private chat channel

died at lvl 18 at descent champions. holy moly what a bad race. i went to the brute 1 half potion charge, it took me about 5 minutes, but at least i did it ROFL.
then i had no clue anymore which level the storm call merveil is, and best of all, i swapped my flasks just before that level cuz i didnt know anymore that the next level is boss, so i once again had no flasks and died to the storm call merveil. ZZZZZ

Well a Wings of Entropy just dropped for me, but I already have a dual strike build. Not sure how I'll use my new toy.

so the EL race from hell just happened. I finished 3rd overall and 2nd Witch (500 xp behind 2nd place, who was Witch. 1st place was massively ahead.) at level 6 and 69% xp. Ill give a longer writeup later for those who are curious, too tired right now gonna go pass out.

hell? its just kiting lvl20+ bosses with lvl6 chars, easy with fire trap right :D
the system still awards points tho so its funny, yet there will also be a replacement race lol.

So played through invasion and got bored again now. Anyone want my summoner stuff ? Some of it is pretty decent.

Meh so unfun to die after playing 1h+ in races while being top 50. I think next time I will farm Sins 1 again. I'm pretty sure I would not have reached lvl 24 like I did last time. Was lvl 21 1/2 shortly before Vaal and only 14 min to go. I'm just too slow in Act2. Merveil was decently fast, I did her in like 30 min.

I was really late and was only there for the last 48 minutes or so. Managed to hit 18 and 80%.

Yeah, I know this feeling. I died in the Ancestral Party 1 minute before the end as 3th marauder. Jumped into a crowded room. Turned out there was a firestorm shrine, too. -.-
My RNG is also one of the worst I ever had. 3 races in a row with no 2 handed drop besides lvl 1 stuff until brutus. Neither coral/iron rings (neither from drops, nor from nessa). 2 of three times I couldn't even buy a weapon off of Tarkleigh. I also never had even one Medium Life Flask drop before Brutus (one time I got a small one, so I could at least vendor three), only Mana Flasks.
I think I'm going to practice worst case scenarios from now on.

If you feel like you aren't going to find a 2 handed weapon I suggest you to reach lvl 2 before The Mud Flats and then go into the WP and check if the merchant sells one for 2(?) wisdom scrolls.
I basically choose either Cleave or Ground Slam, depending on what I get from Hillock. Usually I prefer Ground Slam, but if Hillock drops a yellow Sword I'll get Cleave.
This recent Descent:Champions I made lvl 23 1/2 or so, meaning #21 overall and #3 Marauder. Descent:Champions is the best race for points imo. 15 points from it, that's a lot for me.

I always get lvl 2 before Mud Flats to buy a 2 handed from Tarkleigh. I just talked about a two hander beside that lvl 1 white crap. It takes a lot of time to kill packs with it in prison as well as brutus. 
Died in the party race. Was racing with a friend and forgot to equip my fire res ring, ran around a corner into a bunch of explosion creeps before merveil. bumm^^
And yes, Descent Champions is a lot of free points. Especially because dying doesn't matter as much.
