Howd u find 2 vaal orbs i hate u lol. I think they are pretty valuable atm although who on invasion has the currency to buy? Rip them to softcore on a mule LOL (yes I know u don't care for SC currency).
They are not really worth much and me and my party found about the same ratio vaal orbs as we found alchs.

I ripped my vaal orb to softcore. How much are they worth exactly?

I'm not actually any help there but I'd assume a decent amount. That thread of uniques getting Corrupted had some complaints regarding vaal orbs being impossible to get atm so...

I can't wait to get home from work today to play. My friend and I left off in act 2 normal after doing chamber. We both have had one near RIP but it's been fun. Oh and I doubt we will switch to ambush anymore. Invasion is so much better and the difficulty makes it really fun. Both of us agree on that so yay for HC~!

I'm slightly intrested to start playing again after few months break, looking at the streams and all that. No idea what should I play though and since nothing is updated just yet, it's even harder for me to pick something. So I'm thinking about going RoA ranger again, was quite succesful in nemesis. Is RoA still viable? If not, what would you guys suggest for invasion?

RoA's viable, why wouldn't it be?
You are going to leech somewhat less if you rely on life leech for survivability, but thats about it.

I didn't really follow patch notes over all these months so wasn't too sure if it received some form of nerfbat.

Nerfbat this time hit Crits (via lower multi), life leech, Scions, and everybody that took the Scion lifewheel. Thats about it.
Also Bringer of Rain so builds that relied on that for affordable end-game links got nerfed.
Also Aegis aurora based builds got a nerf.
Ele nodes and spell nodes all got buffed though.

So if you check the items page on the website, it shows what the new sacrificial garb is.
Its a Required level 72 Armor/Evasion/ES chest (all 3). Its about at "sentinel jacket + some armor" tier which seems kinda questionable, but great for rolling whatever colours you want I suppose. For IR characters its like a saintly only biased much more heavily to armor rather than ES. Which kinda sux.
Basically it sounds awesome for IR aegis aurora builds and for EB builds and pretty bad for the rest I think.
E: Okay new item prefixes were added for it as well. Interestingly, they are all "minimum level 1" which I suppose isn't relevant since the item type only comes from atziri aka ilevel 70+ but still.

Do casters, like witches, stack armour in any amount? I have an OK amount of life and rarely get hit, but when I do it's for quite an amount, just by random stray arrows. I have 731 armour (7%) and still feel a little vulnerable. I was looking at Arctic Armour; does Reduced Mana reduce the amount it eats up per second?

Something about witches is that they're just horribly squishy and sucky for a while. Then once you get the nodes you need and some good gear, you can start being insane. Arctic Armor is good but you won't want to use it seriously for a little while, plus it won't help much with those big attacks because it's a flat reduction to phys and fire damage instances. It's amazing for things like Voidbringers but absolute shit against those massive hits like a Vaal smash. Right now you should probably try to get some templar gear to get some armor up--just so long as you have the str to do it, of course. You might want to save respec points for this so you can take some str and life nodes for leveling and get out of them when you go for CI which shouldn't be for a long time.

What sort of assumptions do people typically make when they math out Elemental Weakness versus Vulnerability versus Flammability?
From a party standpoint Vulnerability and Elemental Weakness are the clear winners I guess.

Run away and make a new instance (or alt F4 if he catches you offguard and you can't escape).
This strategy works for all the new bosses

It makes lots of copies but ive killed it a few times just facetanking it and letting my OP searing bond totem kill it.

There's a 6L corrupted Kaom Heart verified in page 49 of thread guys. Shame it was also turned to rare. Imagine if it would stay as unique. 1000 mirrors starting bid?
