I still dont have a clue how to estimate values and seeing as ele proliferation is more for niche builds i dont think i got a jackpot here anyway.

So to sum it up: If you are fighting a lot of small creatures armour is a lot better than energy shield, but in boss-fights where you can kite, LOS or whatever the techniques are called, you are better off with the energy shield and burst damage/dot damage/range damage rather than good sustainable melee damage and tanking hits. | ||

The idea is to use a staff for the crit passives and block, while getting the cold passives with crit to freeze stuff. Now, given I have no idea of endgame stat distributions on items and such, I would like to know if it's viable or not.
