EPTPoB is updated now. I'm still leaning towards going Double Strike, not sure if that's a terrible decision but I think it will actually work quite well.

Nah, the skill has 25% and Vulnerability adds even more. That's plenty to get bleeds rolling. The damage is from impale and phys mostly. It should actuaaly be decent leveling thanks to the added damage though! If everything fails, it's fairly easy to convert fo Flicker Strike, Blade Flurry or Cleave (would need to Dual Wield though, which is a lot more expensive since you need 2 weapons). Either way, going SSF for sure. Not hardcore though. I think I will fully focus on Betrayal so I can farm for Paradoxica! | ||

edit: I'm in maps now, and the league mechanic could be cool, but it's not made for melee. Not at all, absolutely unplayable without an overdose of damage. Almost makes me wanna reroll, but this can't stay like this, so maybe GGG does something. But I can't quite imagine what. Seeing RaizQT do it with SRS, it would be fair if he loses all resolve in 2 hits if you compare it with how shitty it is as melee. | ||

I'm personally surprised at how much progress I made in 3 attempts. In the first I just managed 2 rooms and now I have already completed a floor with half of my resolve lost due to a disconnect. I don't know, it feels managable so far and I like that you probably need quite a large number of runs to get to the final floor. It's also changing the pace compared to the normal game, which I like. | ||

You can avoid a lot of afflictions that way. A few boons like reduced impact taken or reduced enemy action speed help a lot. I had a pretty good run to floor 4 with some really sick boons, but my DPS was too low and couldn't continue Unfortunately I think the logical conclusion of this mode is to get 5-10m dps and just explode everything, but it's really fun. I hope it scales into endgame decently, both challenge and rewards is anyone playing Ruthless? Only streamer I saw is Manni | ||

Yeah, I understand that as well but I think with this move they removed a number of niche builds. I definitely don't like this change at all regardless of my own situation. PoE's strength is weird builds and it has been increasingly struggling with this over the past years. Kinda regretting not doing my usual Expedition stuff but trying out a left-side start for once. Haven't seen many Blights yet so might spec into that to get some anoints going. Kind of wish I'd known there was a Tavukai divination card being added (Return of the Rat), might have started SRS. | ||

The league mechanic was likely meant to be done while having some good relics. Like always, Reddit just overreacts at the start, though it looks way more difficult for certain builds. I have 2 chars, the TR Pathfinder has low dps making fights longer and annoying, EA on Elementalist allows to kinda cheese some fights. Mostly skipping, but made it to level 3 the farthest. (4 link enjoyer still). Saw Ziz farm pretty easily with cold dot before ripping, and Mathil made it look simple on the char he's leveling now. Big DPS seems to do the job in general. | ||
