I can recommend Ball Lightning Miner Saboteur (Shadow Ascendancy), it's very strong once you get the Minefield support gem and doesn't require much gear to get great boss damage. Still would check out builds since you need to know a good passive tree and the gem links at the very least Other than that, Summon Skeleton Necromancer (Witch) is pretty gear independant as well and good for bosses (the build uses more minions of course, like basically all summoner builds). Those are two builds I've played without buying much gear at all so you can be fine if you follow builds or know what to do. There are more, but these are the easiest I know. | ||

It's hard to say how good harvest crafting will be, but most Unique Weapons have about the same DPS as they had pre-patch, while rare bases will have 15+ % more damage. So rares should quickly outpace uniques with decent crafts | ||

Berserker's War Bringer has been redesigned. It now causes Warcries to grant 10 Rage per 5 Power if you have less than 25 Rage, and causes them to sacrifice 10 Rage if you have at least 25 Rage. It also causes Exerted Attacks to deal 50% more Damage if a Warcry sacrificed Rage recently. That makes the War Bringer quite good, but so far my most likely starter will be a 2h Ground Slam Staff Berserker that plays the old way with instant Enduring Cry, lots of attack speed (60 Rage, Blitz charges) and no use of Exert mechanic. Should have reasonable damage, probably not as much as the new slow 2h builds, but I don't like clicking many keys as I have said before and I can't quite imagine having 1-2 attacks per second these days. | ||

I've been thinking. Vortex and Vaal Cold Snap sharing the same 6 link (the 4 support gems should scale similar). And wintertide brand in a 5 link helmet (or maybe a 6 link staff). But I'm still not sure about how to do it. | ||
