You still can. They changed the slam base CD from 5 to 4 seconds. Someone calculated on reddit you just can't have a lot of increased minion attack speed if you want them to perma slam.

I still won't try a zombie focussed build despite them possibly being nice, I don't think increased aggro range makes them that much better as it doesn't really fix the AI. They'll still come back to you when you move probably.
Also, did GGG say whether Ravenous Hordes Onslaught and Grave Intentions' Unholy Might work for each minion or just for the one who kills? I think it's just for the minion who kills. Because of that I won't pick either and try to get the former from Annointing Enchantment.

Blade Flurry is always good for the "tanky and good dps, mediocre clear" approach. Hell recently you can even get a hilarious amount of aoe out of it if you try, probably due in part to new Pulverize (not positive).
Ziz just posted this, haven't watched yet myself, but might be good for some ideas to start with (can change ascendancy and such a bit if you want). And Mathil did a big aoe version in Legion, Inquisitor but again you could just pick one of the tankier ascendancies and use it for ideas/inspiration.
Honestly taking any of the really popular Cyclone builds from Legion and swapping Cyclone for any melee skill of your choice, is probably a solid way to start. And there are plenty of Cyclone builds to choose from lol, it was the #1 played in Legion by far.

Well, I guess one of the upsides of the cat waking me up at 5:30am is I'm up in plenty of time to glacially update before league start, rethink my starting build*, fiddle with Filterblade, and assemble some curry in the slow-cooker for tonight.
* might succumb to trying out popcorn SRS from the get-go rather than level with OoS/LST ... hmmmn. Wonder if it's worth using Flame Golem/Goatmen Fire-Raisers with Combustion/Elemental Army to apply exposure &c.

Ahhhhhh do I do Guardian or Necro.
Bit worried about Guardian damage with spectres since necro scales so damn hard so quickly.
Apart from that, usual deal I think: At least lag and me will be chilling on teamspeak, more people for HC will be welcome. Totally expecting lag to outrun me though.

Yeah, I'm running Guardian - the reworking nodes are gonna feel so good for leveling, I reckon.
Are you aiming to get gem level 31 Raise Spectre for four base spectres - how feasible is that for Guardian?

Anybody know if the travel skill boots plus the three elemental helmets are the only Blight uniques that you can use oils on, or if there are more that haven't been revealed?

Level 31 sounds a bit rough. =P
I don't think 21 is worth the investment either early on - I'd rather use a 6L than +2 minion helmet for them.

Geez, summoner is op. I'm killing every boss since weaver that doesn't have phases in like 2 seconds, Malachai's 3 phases took like 10 secs. Brutus and Doedre basically didn't get to do anything. That's what happens when already stupid strong minions get dmg buffs, all they needed were AI buffs tbh. Lvl 55 now, gonna sleep now tho.
And yes, league mechanic is nice. I like it more than Legion already, since that felt pretty bad with builds that didn't tag everything, it was too hectic.

Leveling totems is a bit clunky lol, I probably overcommitted to Ancestral Bond and should have just kept self casting til 50something. Getting a 4L might help though. Bout at that level range.

The tower defense feels solid, frost towers are king in slowing down the mobs, I always get a couple of them at the start of an encounter.

I'm 95% sure some of the "special mobs" (e.g. the fireball/frostbolt guys) that shoot at things outside of the lanes target the NPC and not our character. Since the NPC walks just close enough to you to be in AoE range of explosions that's definitely something to watch out for.

It'd be nice if there was a little more in-game info about the towers etc (had initially thought the monster icons were showing what tower they were vulnerable to, rather than resistant to); otherwise enjoying the league mechanic a little mre than Legion/Synthesis. Master changes feel amazing.
Stomped through the storyline as Infernal Legion/Minion Instability SRS Guardian l; never had act bosses etc melt so fast. Had a Pledge of Hands drop so trying out 3x Slave Drivers in a 4L to give me a break from SRS spamming; up to T11s and just found my last uber trial - might try to respec to ES/LL with a Solaris Lorica.
Anyone found any of the new div cards yet? Had The Deal ftom Cameria and The Heroic Shot from, er, a unique strongbox inside a Zana Crater.
