Multiple instances of Maim don't stack so every single one of those examples is redundant in some way except for 3?
Since multiples don't stack you want 1 source that is as strong as possible which is Flesh and Stone linked with Maim. #3
People running Flesh and Stone with a Maim chest are using the former for the Blind aura in Sand stance and not for the Maim from Blood.

Got it, so until I get my chest I still need maim in my 6L since I’m usually running around in sand except for bosses

There might also just be a better 6th link if you want to use Blood Stance on bosses. What do you have on cyclone besides maim? Melee Phys + Brutality + Pulverize + Infused Channeling is sort of the typical 5 but instead of Maim 6th you could do Impale, Fortify, Damage on Full Life (depending on build/ascendancy), etc. I was confused about it at first too but I've liked having all these other solid options and just getting the maim from Flesh and Stone + Blood Stance when I need it.

Right now, fortify brutality melee physical infused channeling and maim. Pulverize didn’t do as much to my dps, I’m guessing because of the attack speed drop. Was going to add impale as my 6th and drop in and dread banner Somewhere.
Right now I’m also using vaal double strike in a 5L and vaal ancestral warchief in a 4L for bossing, might need to drop one of those at some point. Mainly bc I’m running out of hot keys

I'd rather use Pulverize instead of Maim since it grants a decent amount of AoE, if you really need the damage of Maim support, just use it on a Ancestral Warchief, your main skill gets the damage then as well. I doubt you need the damage for trash, and putting a totem occasionally doesn't hurt.

Yeah Pulverize is more for the AOE than damage for sure, harder one to appreciate in PoB. Same for Impale, since I'm pretty sure PoB still isn't doing impale properly (or at all?), but that support on top of all the new impale nodes in the duelist area of the tree is really really strong right now.
Hot keys have definitely been a nightmare this league though. I haven't disliked the new guard skills as much as I thought I would and they help quite a bit. Berserk is also really fun if you have a source of rage. But man it makes keybind real estate tough right now. Especially on top of Vaal skills. As my gear gets better and I can just Cyclone everything, I'm thinking about consolidating to Cyclone + Leap Slam + Totem + Molten Shell + Blood Rage + stance switch. Mostly keeping totem for blind on bosses/rares than the dps honestly. Vaal shell, vaal warchief, berserk, etc. have all been great but the switching everything back and forth to break momentum is more cumbersome than just diluting my character and brute force upgrading the deeps until it doesn't matter. Would love to see some hot key buffs in the near future, and I think they've actually acknowledged this at some point given than they actively added more buttons to push with the guard abilities, stances, new travel skills available, etc.
Right now trying to decide on sticking with Soul Tether + Daresso neck or going for decent rares on both and getting some other source of big dmg like CoH ass.mark ring + Mark of the Elder or something. Gonna be fucking expensive though, because I need good -mana cost on the curse ring too...
Edit: Realized I'm out of buttons even with the above list because I forgot about Banner. SO MANY HOT KEYS D: who needs a banner anyway

PoB doesn't have Impale calcs at all so far.

Im using molten shell, vms, cyclone, enduring cry, blood rage, stance, leap slam. Vms, leap slam and blood rage could probably all go on a weapon switch setup though.

Hm I didn’t think about blood rage on a weapon swap, but I use it so often and it just adds opportunity for mistakes

Yeah I might try that with my 2H set up actually, since all that's on the weapon is Cyclone so you don't need to fuck around with auras and shit when you swap.

I just did some double checking on a slayer tree and it looks about right (same tree just swapping 2H+Starforge nodes for 1H/DW). Unoptimized because of Overwhelm crit shenanigans, accuracy, etc. But that's probably a decent rule of thumb at least.

Thanks! I went for a 6L chest instead of kaom's this league, I think dual foils might be a much cheaper option at the moment.

Yeah Starforge/Disfavour are really popular this league but mostly for the Kaom's option and if you've got cash it's just easier to buy the unique sometimes lol. On paper though two foils costing about the same as a Starforge currently definitely look like more damage. Not much, only like 5-10%, but that's just a quick search on poe trade, you could probably craft something even better.

There's also a build that uses 2x paradoxica with crazy amount of dps, looks a lot of fun.

Which pair of Paradoxica mods are the best? I got one earlier in the league but it sold for less than 1ex, even cross checking what looked most popular when I was unveiling.

The ones with % Increased Damage, % increased attack speed, % quality and 20% chance to impale are worth 30+ ex I think. Doesn't really seem worth the price compared to crafted foils though (at 30ex you can get close to 500pdps foils already).

What ilvl do foils need to be to roll the highest tier dmg mods? Are the elder/shaper bases worth anything over the normal bases?
I'm thinking about crafting a pair on my own, just trying to get a sense of the amount of investments needed.

I think ilvl 83+ is high enough for damage mods, above that it's other unrelated stuff.
Shaper/Elder bases mostly for "gems are supported by ____" extra links, which isn't as critical for 1H since your main dmg skills usually aren't in your weapons. Or gain % of phys as cold/chaos/etc. If you're not pure phys.
