It's still pretty gigantic tbh. Phys coc should still be legit though I suppose.

Does anyone know more about the Augury of Penitence node? How does the nearby enemies deal 8% less elemental dmg interact with resistancies? say you have 75% fire res and an enemy would normally do 100 fire damage to you you'd take 25 damage now they'd do 92 fire damage to you, so you'd take 23 damage
Ah too bad. That doesnt outweigh the reflect reduction then.

Okay, I think I'm going to do Ice Spear, God help me.

Zero passive tree changes aside from the few Ascendancy changes confirmed. So there's not really a need to update the offline tree planner, but I did anyway (you can do that through the old one; help menu -> check for update). I hate that the map name changes will be super confusing. Tunnel map name changed to Crystal Ore Map? Better learn that name, I hate that map. And now Underground River will be the good map and Underground Sea the meh map.
Hmm so there's basically all info out now for choosing the build to play. Unless there will be some last minute buffs/nerfs after all the flak from Reddit in the last two days. It wouldn't surprise me, in fact I expect it.

If the only Tier X map I have unlocked on the atlas is a unique one, will every Tier X map drop be unique for me?

I'm between Pathfinder and Beserker for my Explosive Arrow build. Don't want to do Scion (bonuses seem too weak) or Elementalist (not sure on this). Pathfinder would be more defensive with super buffed flasks, and really nice movement speed from Experimenter's QS of Adrenaline. Zerker would be certainly more damage and comes with built in leech.
Anyone have experience with EA can talk about what's good? First time using the skill. Not sure about RT vs. Elemental Overload for example.
Pathfinder would be based off of this guide, Beserker something based off this one

I took EA to 91 in perandus but my build was champion and I don't think very many people would copy it
I went FULLLLL pussy had over 9k HP with perma fortify 10% regen etc. From what I've heard, EO is just better than RT these days.

Elemental Overload is probably better. Be prepared for rather mediocre damage on things like Izaro though if you play Explosive Arrow.
Also they can't be serious that Cadiro only has a chance (!) to spawn through Zana map mod. They better buffed his offers then... I think even 100% spawn for 4c wouldn't really be good with how often he offered bad stuff. But maybe I'm wrong.

Be a hipster and make an EA build using a +3 bow with high APS, Undeniable from Juggernaut and the the new accuracy synergy helm. Regardless I think EA single target should be decent, especially if you can manage to get the 40% more ele dmg craft on your helm for your single target setup.

There's so many builds luring me in each direction compared to last league. BV got buff and performance fix so it's even more fun and compelling (liked it in prophecy already.) EA was fun etc but I think single target is a little bit lacking unless someone proves me wrong. (Not to mention its clunkiness) Melee Totems would be so comfy in new maps since you don't have to facetank the unknown and there's shit ton of new maps. Easy boss kills too. LA was my favourite build of poe ever with FW but now with Blast rain I'm not so sure. It felt pretty shit when I tested it a little bit and this expansion is focusing a lot on bosses. Still an option. Shield charge was fast fun for its hilariousness and amazing speed in certain layouts and farms pretty good for its cost. A bit risky build for a life melee tho. Then there's the ED/curse build that will rape everything but it requires 5L+respec or really fucking slow leveling. (Is that even a downside lol?)
Farming autistically dried lake with vaal spark is tempting too but I'm not comfortable to play it without Vinktar's.

You know if you miss with EA in single target scenario the arrow flies ignoring the target. You can't rely on hitting multiple hits to frost wall anymore so hitting the target with single target setup is more important than before.

Elemental Overload exists.

LA/Blast Rain is fine, after all you got the dbl 5-6L power behind it. Phys Archer (Assassin) built around bleed/poison might beat it tho. I kinda want to do splitshot/chain with that this league.
ED isn't that terrible to level depending on which Ascendancy you want to go for. It'd disgustingly shit in a party, but solo there is worse stuff. Levelling Shadow as ED is pretty smooth for example.
Vaal Spark Dried lake won't get you killed to reflect without Vinktars. You shouldn't be anywhere close to the damage/mob life ratio that ends up killing you in maps.

you need like 71% accuracy for EO to break even compared to RT and that's before you factor in the double-dipping on ignites part of "more elemental damage". I used RT though, because I went for dead simple can't fuck up version like I said.
Also missing is decent because sometimes your arrows go deeper into packs although thats rarely a concern per se.
I'm thinking of a bladevortex pathfinder build for myself but struggling with a variety of different ideas. Strongly considering a hybrid life-es max chaos res w/ ming's heart version since you already get free poison and a good chunk of chaos res as pathfinder.

I almost offscreen suicided once with vinktar char(not active) on practice run with v spark. Extremely rare probably. e: I tested again and used vspark whirling into 10% hp reflect mob in a ginnel. Result was death.

I was talking about single target only and with that referring to Izaro/bosses where shooting into pack is unlikely and wall isn't always available. I have no experience in reds with EA and EO could help considerably maybe there but I'm completely ignorant to that.

But yeah, in most cases it was really fine. But tanky things like Izaro that also deal quite a lot dmg weren't so beautiful.

I think the new BV will be decent for leveling, basically a 63% more buff at that stage of the game.

Yes it will, I expect it to be meta in Essence league for sure. Its boss dmg was so absurd and with 20 stacks it should still be better than (almost) any other spell in terms of ST.
