At first I thought this game had two weapon syndrome. Then I realized that both of the guns have multiple attachment upgrades available that are literally 100% separate guns in themselves, are completely switchable at anytime, and every one of those separate upgrades have alternate fires that are separate guns in themselves.

This is a great game.

Also, that fucking boss fight man. My heart hasn't pounded that hard in ages.

Wow, ive played for about 2 hours now, not a lot i know, but i am really impressed. Its nice to finally have a game on the pc that runs great, looks great, and doesn't require hours of tweaking just get the most out of the game, like the shit ports that have come out with unbearable mouse controls, this game has it down perfectly. The story isn't that great, but i mean, im only about 2 hours in as i said, but the gameplay, which has a great blend of incredible action, and tonnes of upgrades regarding the weapons you get, and physics on almost everything, is quite nice. The graphics are expecially great, with some awesome physics on everything that blows up, such as the enemies, but i found myself wishing i had a better rig, since when the shit hits the fan, there are SO MANY light sources and particle effects eveytime you shoot something, its actually ridiculous and intense.

Now, the game can be hard at times, but its not bad at all, youll die a few times here and there, but its not because of a stupid reason, like a modern warfare, which has respawning enemies, the enemies just deal a good amount of damage, and theres a good variety to what enemies youll encounter, from small robots with razor blades that come to you in large numbers, to big ass robots who take a shit tonne of damage and bum rush you, its a great blend! Also, theres no life regen, thank god, but you pick up health, ammo, and money off of the enemies, so it feels preety balanced, mind you, im only playing on normal.

im getting around 50 FPS @ 1680x1050 just strolling around, to between 20-30 FPS when theres more than 5 enemies on the screen, but keep in mind, there are A LOT of things that blow up in a firefight, more than ive seen in games of late, so its not just enemies making light sources when you shoot and kill them, they blow up, which in turn will blow other shit up, which in turn will blow other shit up lol Anyways, here is my rigg, so you can get a reference point, its only in DX9 as far as i know, but its damn damn preety.

Fuck it, I'm going to buy this when I get home; The gameplay in the demo seemed solid and I want to support devs who are making PC-based games. That and nobody has said it's bad.

From the demo here's what I gathered:
- Gorgeous looking
- Fast paced
- Good gunplay
- Most bulletspongy FPS I have ever played(can't even headshot for faster kills)
- 2-3 enemy types
- Gun model takes up half the screen

The good parts don't outweigh the bad parts for me. I despise bulletspongy enemies.
Theres a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

Just a small update. I've bought the game and have been playing the last few hours. The enemies are "bulletspongy" to a degree... However there are still hit-sensitive areas on most mobs which allows you to aim for something to bring it down faster: e.g. on some mobs you are able to blow the legs away from the bodies and cause them to become largely immobile (they can only drag their bodies along with their arms) which becomes critical when facing large numbers of some of the bigger enemies! Others you can aim for parts of the body that enable certain attacks in order to disable them.

Of course you can't just aim for the head to one shot every enemy... I'm guessing you weren't really brought up on many old school FPS games?

Voice acting is terrible LOL
Story suffers dramatically because of it (and it doesn't make a lot of sense anyway).
It's fun exploring areas and trying to find all the secrets (some of which are quite tough to get).
Graphics are GORGEOUS in action
So much shit is destructable, and you can create some crazy chain reactions at times.
Music sucks.

This is definitely an indie game. That means good and bad parts of course!

What's new about SC2's formula? It's great because it came out when the other big RTS games are terrible like DoW and CoH.

It is a great throwback game.
It doesnt do anything new except make some unique, cool looking guns. But that's ok because everything that it does try to do it does exceptionally well.
The actual gameplay is very intense and challenging, levels are full of tough enemies that actually feel way stronger then you, something not seen often in shooters lately. the difficulty of this game is also really high, iv died countless times playing on hard.

The fact that it doesnt bring anything huge or new to the table is reflected in its price, but I still think that its well worth $30 if you enjoy intense, heartpounding shooters.

In this age of games being released unfinished because of deadlines, i think we should appreciate the games like this that dont necessarily bring anything new to the gameplay table, but are still solid in just about every single category a game can be judged by.

PC-Exclusive (lower demographic these days, although I fucking hate console shooters)
Singleplayer only (many people prefer multiplayer games, and singleplayer games are much more likely to be pirated.)
