However there are still hit-sensitive areas on most mobs which allows you to aim for something to bring it down faster: e.g. on some mobs you are able to blow the legs away from the bodies and cause them to become largely immobile (they can only drag their bodies along with their arms) which becomes critical when facing large numbers of some of the bigger enemies! Others you can aim for parts of the body that enable certain attacks in order to disable them. Of course you can't just aim for the head to one shot every enemy... I'm guessing you weren't really brought up on many old school FPS games? Edit: Further thoughts! Voice acting is terrible LOL Story suffers dramatically because of it (and it doesn't make a lot of sense anyway). It's fun exploring areas and trying to find all the secrets (some of which are quite tough to get). Graphics are GORGEOUS in action So much shit is destructable, and you can create some crazy chain reactions at times. Music sucks. This is definitely an indie game. That means good and bad parts of course! Uhh.. it's fine that you can shoot away the legs but each little monster still requires like 50 shots to die. It's funny that you tell me I'm newschool because I sure as hell do not recall Doom, Quake1 or whatever to make you shoot a single enemy for a good 10 seconds. In any case that is my experience, and since Doom which is the first FPS I played, I have _NEVER_ encountered a game as bulletspongy as this one. And it's just not fun for me.

-I was a bit sceptical because of recent "new take on FPS" games (im lookin at you Brink and Bulletstorm) -Game looks like a arena/twitch style shooter similar to quake/UT -The gameplay and graphics both look pretty nice -Health bars, colour, no ADS and pickup management/timing are extremely welcome returns -Lack of multiplayer is extremely dissapointing. MP externds the games lifespan, gives replayability and to a lot of people is the number 1 thing they look for in a game (my current favourite FPS games are TF2 and BF2, neither even has a single player campaign) Im sorry to say that the lack of MP looks like a deal breaker to me, that being said i hope it sells well to show game companies that you dont need to make a COD clone to make money.

There's too much shit on the screen to be able to aim properly or to even tell what's going on sometimes. Couple that with no quick save system and the game becomes extremely frustrating.

If you actually played the full game you'd see your criticism is not really valid...

The little guys aren't a problem, but I was fucking stupid and put 2 points into radarlol (I seriously have no idea what the fuck I was thinking, but do not do this) otherwise clearing the bigs would be easier. Right now I have the shotgun/paralyze and energy grenade.

Any tips I should know about? I don't quite understand the electric gun quite well.
