Seems like we're less and less in number with less and less analysis.
Anyway. I'll clean up stuff and move on Wednesday. It might reach over to Thursday because it will be in the evening sometimes.
Peace.

24.e4-c5 is his most probable move. We cannot take go with 25.c5 since it's an autoloss. What can we do ? We will lose a pawn in the center and lose one of our pawn chains, while he's not in a worse position.

The problems didn't start here. Bf4 was already sub-optimal and I would say b4 or even back a3 ages ago was problematic. And I probably would have never chosen Bxc6 either, at least not with the Qxc6 plan as a follow-up. Edit: I also tried to tell you how one plans in the endgame. I think I said somewhere along the lines that you don't change the pawn structure unless you got the most out of your position. I haven't made a single pawn move until all my pieces were at the perfect place. Kxd7 surprised you, but look at the a6 bishop now. If I get a pawn on d4 it's at its perfect place. gxf6 wasn't about g-file aggression either. You never had Ne5 and now you don't have Be5 - which in many of the sidelines could be a lifesaver. And my rook is as active as it could ever get. The only real hard move was Rc8 a few moves earlier, but it also didn't just serve a distraction, it could have supported c5 in many lines without doubling my rooks, and also - I got so many extra tempi that one maneuvering move didn't make me lose time at all.

Has Ng5 seen further than us? That remains to be seen, but definitely this is the kind of position we were hoping for when we played 23. Nd2 and 24. fxe3. 26. exd5. Time to start analyzing again.

Pretty simple really. We take c5 game won't be looking too hot, even with our 1 pawn advantage. after xd5, I presume xd4 as a response. + Show Spoiler + Honestly, position isn't that bad here. The only problem is his pawn on d4. It isn't even going anywhere thanks to our knight. I'm looking at a trap we could setup if he tries to hit our d5 pawn with his white square bishop. All we do is push d6 to either give us some scary positioning or allow us to trade a pawn for a rook (trade bishops as well). I highly suggest we trade off pieces. Less pieces on the board mean we get to exploit our 2 pawn advantage over him. Anyway, assuming he won't take any bait, I'm looking at Rc1 as our next move. Its imperative to get on to his side and cause some disruption.

I'd been expecting 25...dxe4 at this point, and I wasn't optimistic about it. There were a couple of other possibilities for Black that I considered, but 25...c5 never crossed my mind. I'm suddenly happy with our position again. Has Ng5 seen further than us? That remains to be seen, but definitely this is the kind of position we were hoping for when we played 23. 3 days per move is pretty fast in a correspondence game. If you are half decent you have to know everything by the time you come out of the opening which means you have to research every single sideline of your opening and the positions that can come out of them. In that phase 48 hours on a single move is not even too much and five-six days can fly by even if you don't have a job beside it. This is why I consider correspondence chess a hobby/playboy/old guy with grandchildren kinda stuff. Edit: I mean 48 hours clean time, not counting breaks.
