I'm watching MrLlamaSC's stream (https://www.twitch.tv/mrllamasc), and ...
The remaster seems incredibly unpolished right now. The battle.net chat lobby looks weird and not functional, the ingame interfaces like chat, party icons etc. overlap, shift clicking items to stash seems bugged, you don't (always?) get notified when players join your game but you do get notified whenever anyone joins a global chat like trade, at least some animations like sacrifice appear bugged on other players, !overhead text causes fps drops ... etc.
I know the early access (this weekend's) beta progress will carry over into the later open beta next weekend, but will the overall beta progress carry over into the final game?

i've never understood why they've never given it a shot, some of their cinematics have been not only stunning but so well paced, scripted and delivered.

They made a warcraft movie.
honestly it didnt look that bad too. i dont follow wow so i would have preferred if they went with something from roc/tft but i would definitely pay to watch more movies that involved blizzard. personally im hoping that one day starcraft or diablo lore is brought to film
Had graphics turned highest and the game is gorgeous. I was playing with the legacy toggle and the old graphics still hold a dear place in my heart.
I’m prolly gonna buy it cause the graphics overhaul alone was well done. Though I’m optimistic they will introduce game changing patches to revitalize the community again. Call me a sucker.

I don't know, a new patch would definitely spice things up. Only revamped graphics, though, with the amount of Diablo 2 I've played in the past just don't cut it for me.

True but a patch what does that mean. If it means skills being pumped im all in for, and maybe fix some of the skills that dont currently work and havent worked since beginning of the game.
Not sure what a new patch would add in value unless its new content. That for sure would bring back all old d2players.
Graphics alone however as you say, i feel not. They will play for some weeks then give up as majority of oldschool SC:R players did.
The new gold looting system is great. Maybe that will be enough to reduce loot clutter. Though I still strongly advocate for a simple loot filter. It’s a win-win for everybody. The purists can keep it toggled off and the mod-players can tinker with it. My 2c
Agreed. The loot clutter is a big issue in throne room for example. Not that you will be able to pickit first anyway :D
Gold could just as well be shared across party in the same local area (2 screens away) and amount of gold depending on killer gear. Its silly to need to pickit as everyone want to pickit but its a big hassle to do.
Better highlighting of dropped items that you want so you dont miss HR etc, this is also why you want to de-clutter the screen with gold drops and potions.
You could also add item priority, say HR always shows before gold/pots as the game seem to have a limit to item showed on screen.
