Only complaint I have is that I wish that it was longer )= + Show Spoiler + I was stuck on chapter 8 for the longest time because of this level ![]() So many that had trouble with that map O.o I cleared it quite fast actually, ever since I saw the reverse button, I was waiting for a puzzle where I had to suck something towards it, and then change portal location. One level I did get stuck on tho (feel so stupid) was the one with 1 regular cube, 1 reflection cube, a gravity beam, and catapult... Took me forever to figure out how to get to the cube, I had the whole puzzle figured out in my head, except for how to get the darn cubes! =)

Not really since its got 5 hours of single player then however much in co-op. I doubt valve would have charged the amount they did if Sony didn't make them charge that much. Probably would have been in the $30-$40 price range..

It was just nice when Orange Box came out with Portal, TF2, and HL2, Ep1 and Ep 2 for like 50 bucks or something.

I breezed through Portal 1 in about 2 hours, I'm at around 11 hours portal with neither the singleplayer or the co-op completed ![]() Don't forget that people are going to make more chambers, especially in co-op I imagine there will be some gems of custom maps.

+ Show Spoiler + I think GLaDOS is Chell's mother Turret Opera at the end. Valve HAD TO finish the Portal storyline, or they would have been screamed at for years. They put together some awesome puzzles which were hard to solve! They had an awesome story in Portal 2 which instantly captured me. I don't believe the entire point of Portal 2 is the storyline though. I really feel like they have more plans with it, I don't think that there will ever be a Portal 3 (at least that involves humans). I would really love to see a DLC where you get more puzzles that you can play through. Or some awesome custom puzzles from people! Overall, it was awesome that Portal 2 finished off the Portal story, but I feel like finishing the story is only a small part of what Portal 2 will be!

Awesome game btw. Way harder than the first game but way easier (and stole a lot) from the independent production Portal: Prelude. If you have not played it I highly recommend it.

Loved it, took me 8 hours and I don't for 1 sec. believe those who claim that it took them 4-5 hours. Great voices, humor and puzzles.

Also I feel like too much of the puzzle portions are hunting for an area to shoot a portal. I know maybe they are balancing that with portal logic but I feel like what should be difficult about the game is the portal logic. Also kind of on a side point the white gel sucked and wasn't fun even in the slightest. I just wish there was an SDK released, custom chambers would be so incredible. I am missing the advanced chamber so much.

GLaDOS was based on a woman who was working for Aperture back in the sixties. Chell was in grade school when GLaDOS took over the facility in the following millenium, (one of the potato battery science projects is by a girl named Chell). Caroline/GLaDOS would have been too old at that point to be her mother as she would be in her 50s at least.
