This series reminds me of the heat mavs finals where every time anyone looked at wade he got free throws.
Also love the non call at chandler kicking at where durants head just was earlier in the game. You've a 15 point lead with minutes remaining. There's no excuse for losing it and taking terrible, terrible shots at the end.
First of all im a blazers fan so not me. But this series has been an officiating joke. Not saying westbrook isn't choking, but the foul threshold between the 2 teams is blatant. Dallas is getting away with eastern conference d while okc got the western confererence regular season treatment. You can find about 2 examples in the last 20 years where a player just suddenly starts averaging twice as many free throws while being moderately more aggressive. It's hillarious dallas fans ignore this when they whined for 6 months about it after that finals, the difference is wade got the fouls from driving, half of dirks are simply for anyone contesting his post.

You can't review "if a travel occurred." If it wasn't called, it didn't happen. You can't go back and reward possession to the defense. 2 point/3 point is reviewable, obviously.

"Legendary... if this guy (dirk) wasn't so quiet.. if this guy had a shoe.. the shots he is making are RIDICULOUS". Except he does it every game. And then the postgame interview? "Dirk your performance was legendary tonight... what do you say to that?" Dirk: "Well for some reason i haven't been getting any rebounds this series I'm only averaging like 5 a game... a lot of credit to my teammates, jkidd made a big three for us". If you watched that game you'll understand how ridiculous that sounds. Definitely the most humble superstar. Why exactly were kobe and durant on the all-nba first team over him again? Oh yeah... they shouldn't be
Because he has been soft up until the last couple of years, plus first team is just like mvp popularity+story = first team, also neither of them is a power forward so it is kind of moot argument.

Durant led the NBA in scoring with ~28ppg(Dirk ~23ppg). Kobe scored 25ppg and is a guard not a forward, so his first team spot would have to go to another guard. Lebron/Durant were the clear picks this year (THIS IS NOT INCLUDING PLAYOFFS BTW).

Pretty sure OKC has 13 more FTAs this series.

Once again portland fan, dissapointed west fan though as dirks shooting has been the only noteworthy thing happening in this series, I would love to see dirk and kidd as well as terry win a ring but i have been dissapointed in the shit reffing the nba has had for the past 10 or so years since they gave offensive players free reign. The only thing that has promoted is successful soft players and horribly inconsistent reffing since everything is a foul now.

FT Totals Dal-OKC game 1: 36-43 game 2: 24-26 game 3: 18-36 game 4: 39-25
I agree with you, OKC getting more FTs hence more calls going their way, this is bullshit, and finally they manage to lose a game because Dallas got more calls in game 4.

why does Dirk have to crush us like that?

For people arguing about the officiating, I would say that the other series has had more lopsided officiating than this series. OKC simply did not have enough experience and choked in all the late game moments vs Dallas. Mavericks deserve to move onto the finals (assuming they win 1 out of the next 3, but its the Mavericks so you just never know LOL).

PPG doesn't matter. If the Mavs are up, Dirk didn't care about scoring. He had like 52FG% in the Season. Look at todays game, he just steps up if needed.

Only one person, arguing and that one person is bigjenk, he managed to ignore evidence in his face to continue on trolling.

Everybody is talking about the Mavs choking blablabla. vs the Blazers/Lakers/Thunder inb4 the series everybody is doubting the Mavs blablabla. But obviously after the choke vs the Blazers Dallas has stolen 2 games on away-court ! I doubt this Dallas is the same as the 06 Mavs. Even when Dallas are losing 0-4 to the Heats in the finals, it would be because the Heat have fucking LeBron/Wade/Bosh combo...and everybody is already expecting them to win 5+ rings. So no choke incoming

Wow. I stopped watching with like 5 mins left. CANT BELIEVE THEY LOST. Terrible. I think that Harden having fouled out was probably a big factor, their offense can get pretty fucking shitty without him.

Maybe it is a hazy memory, but I don't remember soft bs fouls like these during the Jordan era, especially late 80s-early 90s.
This series, though, it seems to at least be even. Games 1 and 2 were very fair, even though game 1 the FTs were excessive you had both teams shooting them. I think Dallas could have legitimate gripes about the fouls called in game 3 and OKC about the calls in game 4.

LOL watching Durant at the press conference :D hahahaha
He's so dissappointed, may be his mom should come and give him a hug :D

Reg Season.
how's that working out for the bulls?

Pretty bad play until the clutch 4th quarter by dallas. Getting dominated on the boards was so demoralizing. Collison, perkins, ibaka, durant all giving really great effort and lucky bounces.
OKC killed themselves with terrible shot choice. The mavs (jkidd, marion) picking up on D didn't help them either. Mavs are also very lucky that Harden was out those last few minutes.
Really fun game to watch.
