So BYOND is finally getting more peeks from across the corner!
I've been having fun with this client for so long now, and I swear, I have not seen/heard it mentioned during that time... until now! Hope you all have fun with BYOND--it's an amazing client.
I've played NEStalgia once, but the delay from being in a room of 80 people is horrible! Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way. 80 players in one room is more fun to me than just 5. Perhaps I'll sign on once again. I've been spending my time playing Space Station 13, actually, haha.

if you guys just want a carefree MMO that you dont have to pay any money for, that you can play on your free time with friends, then you should definitely check this game out, i played with my roommate and its not even one week yet, and we are level 29, and the level cap is 32.
(we only played maybe 2 hours a day)
The community is really nice and people will recognize you quickly. Trust me, this game just needs more advertisement and recognition, it will be big eventually, get on it now and you won't regret it.
I HIGHLY recommend starting this game with a friend. With a group of 2 you can blaze through quests, it is way more fun and you can alternate party leaders so the other guy can basically surf the net at the same time as playing.
As for the game itself it is constantly being updated, has a strong endgame, daily quests, tons of items, CHALLENGING puzzles, and a bevy of other options - ITS LIKE THE DRAGONQUEST/FF game you always loved but ONLINE.

Normally, I'm opposed to spending a lot of time with mmos, but this game is just too amazing. If you're just starting out, I highly recommend, like almost all the experienced players in this thread, getting a friend or two to play with you. By having 2 or three people in a party instead of soloing, you all get more gold and more experience. If you only have 2 people, with no subscription, I recommend 1 person be a ranger and the other a wizard. The reason for this being FAST FARM. Wizard (of course) gets a lot of aoe spells, but so does the ranger. Because of this, once the two of you are strong enough, you can kill an entire enemy wave after 1 shot from each of you. I'm sure there are other suggestions from other players for starting parties (especially if you have a subscription), but this has been working pretty well for me so far. Once you're in the tl guild, it's pretty easy to find people to party with since we're cool like that. This game can get pretty tedious by yourself, but with friends/tl guild it's loads of fun ^_^

just wanted to say that this game is awesome.. made a wizard and joined the TL guild...and they are very helpful. can't.....stop.......playing, haha. one of the main reasons i like it so much right now is that i can just sit back and relax and play....like most turn based games, i guess. with other games i'm usually 3 inches away from the monitor while feeling like i'm 2 seconds away from having a heart attack the whole time. i'm sure it gets more intense the higher level you are and when you start pvp'ing and whatnot... but right now its fun to just chill, explore the world, and try to get to that point.
definitely check this one out

I'm trying to make some low level duelers/gankers. I completed a soldier with optimal gear; he hits like a truck but feels underwhelming defensively. I'm going to make a Ninja and see how that one fares.

we updated, using ver 1.50 now no new content yet just graphic/menu/sprite adjustments
I dont think the team liquid guild is active any longer so if you need help try contacting someone from Ghetts Stars; most of the active tl members are in this guild now.
