A Reaver/Mosquito/Scythe with a peashooter is a lot weaker than one with dumbfire missiles or air-to-air lock-on missiles. However, i think the Cert gain is actually quite fast, in the 2 days that i've played about 6-7 hours a day i earned around 300 certs. I'm not even a good player, my K/D is probably around 0.00001, i'm happy when i manage to kill someone between 2 deaths. I somehow manage to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I spawn a reaver, fly near a base we try to defend, suddenly 3 ground-to-air missiles hit me at the same time. I sneak into the biodome and go to the generator and when i turn around the corner, there are suddenly 3 heavys that were just walking by. I spawn a vanguard to deal with the enemy tank column, move 5m away from the base and 2 mosqs with dumbfire rockets just happen to fly across the base and blow me up. You can still earn a ton of certs by doing supporty stuff, like providing spawn sunderers at the right places, repairing, healing, ammo and by just being there when a region gets captured (=> instant 1-4 cert points). If you are in a squad, you even get a ton of bonus XP by doing the same stuff you'd do otherwise. Other than that, just use AoE weapons into enemy groups and get tons of assist XP. Edit: Just checked it, K/D 0.665 (212/319), earned a total of 304 certs. | ||

Thats why i say "/y capture the outer bases, they have teleporters and jump pads" every 3 minutes when capping a biolab. I like the system and the flow of biolab battles but yes, it's really not the most intuitive. | ||

They really should make it so you can hold your breath longer though, it's pretty short atm. | ||
