As NC i have to control recoil, do burst fire at longer distances, etc. and still miss most of the shots unless i happen to be at point blank range. Maybe it's just my playstyle that fits better to the guns though... well, or the NC and VS on Woodman just suck. | ||

I've seen Vanu infantry shooting plasma balls out of their guns. I am assuming thats the Lasher? Impressive to watch. So many weapons in the games that i want to use but cant...as trial weapons is not working for me. I want something akin to BF3 AUG3, minimal recoil with good accuracy but slower firing rate. Its annoying to need so many certs to unlock stuff | ||

I made an alt on TR and it's just amazing how accurate their guns are over range. | ||

As NC I can't hit anything anyway because tldr; I'm bad. But it's okay knowing that I have some handicaps others don't have, and after all it remains a whole bucket of fun | ||

Same thing, but I think it also depends on the server, Miller seems to be much harder than the one where I have my TR character on (it's a us east server, don't remember the name). I mean, with my TR character even ESF pilots are much worse than on Miller. I think the problem of NC on Miller is that TR and VS are much more organised that NC, and we always have to figth against overwhelming forces  . | ||

You are right, i started as an NC untill around BR14, then i rerolled to TR and omg.. such a big diffrence, there is hardly any recoil on the TR default gun. i heard Vanu has even less but havent tried them yet. The TR guns are much easier to use, however the NC does hit the hardest, so if you are good and can control the recoil correctly they can be very powerful. Overall i do think its a good game, i'm just not a big fan of the realistic "aim down the sight" shooters like cod/bf, i miss RTCW:ET | ||

Here I thought they fixed spider mags as they were called back when the hover upgrade was stronger (you could scale the cliffs around tawrich rofl). And yeah...NC weapons are harder to use but you also have to land less shots. Overall DPS is kinda split, VS have the best on carbines, TR on LMG, and I think NC on rifles? Its completely worthless outside, but once you get inside a base its really, really useful. It won't kill people as fast as a LMG but it has splash damage so you can shoot people around corners/spam doors with it. You also basically never have to reload. | ||

You might run into trouble with the Waterson VS TL outfit, though i don't know how active they are :p + Show Spoiler + Also, i see what you did there  On another topic, I love leading a platoon and trying stuff that is not "victory through numerical advantage". Sadly it never works We were taking an amp station a few minutes ago and the defenders of course had tanks, sunderers and everything inside the base, so while we held the outer parts and had the generators down, we just couldn't get in. I got a group of about 12-15 people to the top of the roof and we tried to push in through the lift and take them by suprise... well, and then we all died - mostly to friendly grenades - but it still was fun trying it. We still managed to take the base a few minutes later by using brute force though i would have loved it more if my suprise attack would have worked | ||
