In W4, a neighbor that used to be excessively friendly to us came in to our claims and destroyed everything while punching us. However, he didn't have murder, so after he got bored after 2 days of griefing us, we just went back to repair the damages. That taught us the importance of building a palisade immediately. We had every crop, four individual little homesteads, and a huge plaza lined with baby trees. He wrote "FAGS" in the plaza and we fixed it to say "PEACE" lol. He killed all of my chickens over my prone body. Sigh. In W5, we were just farming and we had our palisade half done when people came through and Murdered us all. So we moved, and build a smaller palisade, and everything was fine until this morning, when we logged on to find that some random person had randomly spawned INSIDE our palisade. He destroyed everything and drew a penis in our fields with paved tiles, which is amazing to me because that probably took him upwards of half an hour (plow all the land, chip all the stone, lay all the tile). That taught us to make sure every inch inside the palisade walls is claimed, so that people can't spawn inside. That guy killed all three of our chicken coops full of chickens and baby chicks, destroyed all our beehives, destroyed all our leather and bone glue, destroyed my cabinet full of my first-ever round of silkworms that had JUST finished hatching last night, bla bla bla. Sigh. And yet despite all this stupid loss, I can't stop playing. I just want to build a cute farm and wear silk clothing. That's all I want. Someday, I will have a stone mansion with a cellar and merchant's robes and a fucking birthday cake. Then maybe I can stop playing this fucking infuriating game that's full of fucking vile fuckers that really take "going out of your way to grief people" to a whole new level. At least it's sort of therapeutic because it's forcing me to have a more zen-like unattachment to my material comforts. rofl. Anyway so now we're just wandering around. I kind of hate the new LP gain system with curiosities. I feel like I HAVE to make ten alts on ten different accounts and cycle them with curiosities every 12 hours or whatever just to be effective. So far, I'm mostly only using three characters. Two are farmers (at very different locations... I don't know why I'm wasting my time basically playing the same game twice), and the third is supposed to be a miner/fighter with higher strength, but I only just started her like 2 days ago so her str is only at 13 right now (still better than my main farmer's 7 str hahah). Our crowning achievement is that we have... found bronze. Sigh. I'd love to join together with some TLers if we're not too far apart. My small community is three very hardcore players, one slightly less hardcore player, and two potential players, so I dunno about Lost Temple, KtheZ, cuz we are more than 2 spots. I'd like to meet you ingame, though, so maybe we can PM each other and spawn alts at each others' spots to see what we can see. | ||
