I dunno about 3rd party sites (my friend bought bf3 from one for 30 dollars). But i know you can switch what region you're in to say brazil and buy it for cheaper (it'll charge you in Brazilian money which doesn't hold the same value.)

It depends on how much you play and enjoy BF3. If you do, then buy it because you get all the DLC's and other bonuses. It's definitely a good price for anyone that does not have the game.

well bought it now. even bought it at origin after a bad expirience with mmoga. close quarters pretty decent i gotta say so far. it def adds something to the game that was missing. before when i just wanted to shoot some i had to do tdm which sucks quite much or metro which sucks even worse.
conquest assault(or is it domination`?) on the new maps for me fills that gap very nicely. and the "hd destruction" while nothing to wow me def adds flavor.
gungame seems ok. could be much improved by some small tweaks tho

I hope there are hornets for US on maps where they have the AC130. It would be actually fun to have an objective to protect something in the air rather than dominate everything on land (it would also allow me to work with my friends too, since I imagine AC130 skillcap will be low so they can fly in the air while I cover them as they rack up the kills ^>^)

Actually that gives me the idea of an air-objective based map. That'd be pretty sick! Although I suppose infantry would be sort of useless... although there could be like a lot of planes, and the people on the ground are battling to keep the air base. Then they could have those two man planes that would be so awesome. AW man. But you know, I can dream...
Just unlocked the L85A and man is it good, the recoil with heavy barrel and a foregrip is just sooo comfortable, totally makes up for the slow rate of fire. Easily apart of the top class of assault rifles when it comes to medium and long distances, along with the G3A3, AN-94 and AK-74M. Probably going to be my rifle of choice when I'm not running around in CQB-melees (SPAS-12/P90 so strong)
Armored Kill is going to be the bane of my existence if there are any Aircraft achievements. I cannot fly for my life...and if there are no F-35s, I'm going to be sad. Shooting down other jets and the gunships are going to be hard, but there's a first time to learn anything.
Also, with Armored Kill coming, what will happen to Recon, as all the other roles will still be present. Assault is still going to lead the jeep charge against flags, Support has C4 jihad, and Engineers are going to be everywhere. The only thing that Recon benefits is the Spawn Beacon, but since the map is so big, and with less cover, the soldiers will have to parachute down, which isn't going to be an incentive when there are no jeeps for transport. I'm thinking that DICE should add some type of Tracer Dart, similar to what BC2 had as an unlock.

Meh. Not entirely DICE"s fault, but half EA too since they have 2 fps games trying to compete with Call of Duty and Dead Space 3 with Gears of War.
