Hardcore matches should have more hp so skill can actually be taken in account instead of lag deciding if you go 20 0 or the other way around.

Haha i was playing support seriously for the 1st time, i've gotten service stars for the other 3 classes.. Decided to use Mortar in Seine Crossing to see whats the fuss about.

I was shocked haha. 25kills in 2 rounds of seine. Killed both people & tanks with Mortar. Died once to a counter Mortar....but i learnt to move & fire. Support is pretty fun stuff, Mortar & C4 is awesome. I was 3rd in a Caspian Border round just by blowing things up.

C4 is also dangerous to myself. Cant count the times i suicided to my own C4 haha. I rather blast myself up with the tank, then to let that tank get away

Grats I can't hit shit with that thing, I get occasional kills, but since the recent patch sensitivity on my MAV dropped so hard I have to wave my hand 6 times to make a 360 degrees turn

They did everything right in this patch, except they didnt nerf the MAV. But good to see Tac light, mortars, IRNV, AA, SPAS frags, and AT mines were nerfed deservedly. Especially that AT mine thing, I always thought it was unfair mines didn't disappear after death the way C4 does.

Also, pretty much every glitch I've encountered in this game is now fixed, which is mucho cool. 2GB is pretty damn big for a patch though.

The full auto nerf will certainly affect my AEK strategy... not sure how I feel about that, but I'm all for realism, so thumbs up!

excellent, they're making it harder to kill ground targets while in the air without nerfing damage

I don't agree with jets doing more damage to other jets, they already kill in like 6 rounds. I'd prefer it if they made it so jets did more damage to other jets while the victim jet is disabled to help stop bailers but sounds like extinguisher is going to be necessary if the +damage is clearly too much and flukey shots while flying at each other at the beginning of a dogfight are what decide the dogfight

edit- Tweaked the max vehicle height on Noshahar Canals, lol still a bad map but at least you can fly in it now

I'd still like to see SOFLAM giving points for painting targets if you are not using it.

The patch looks great, just yesterday I started to notice the usas being quite a beast at long range :/.

Full auto nerf, AN94 buff...time to switch weapons. I'll miss spraying down snipers with my F2000.

I wonder how good the improved AN94 burst fire is going to be.

Increased the reload time of the Mortar from 3.5sec to 4.8sec and increased the time it takes before a shell hits the ground

HUZZAH! Finally I might be able to play rush without getting killed Every. Damn. Time. by mortars

Im excited too about the AN-94 buff, this could become my standard weapon. But i ask myself why they added single fire to AN-94 while they removed burst from M416. Maybe im wrong on this but i thought AN-94 has no single fire IRL.
Reduced full auto accuracy is probably a good change too, there was no real benefit to change a gun to burstmode if you wanted to burst you could just tap the trigger. Although i hope the guns will remember your choice after death because thats a bit annoying when you always have to change it back everytime you die. Same goes for Camo, it changes back to default everytime a new match starts.
Oh yes and i almost forgot. IRNV gets nerfed, time to perform a happy dance. Umz umz umz baby... Its time to pack my stuff in Skyrim and go back to Karkand

Thats strange because i play almost exclusively assault but everytime a new match starts my camo is back to default.

And i didnt want to use the "reality argument" because i think BF is a simulation or that it should be one (honestly im quite annoyed when people make statements about gameplay issues and try to justify their opinions with realism, but thats another story). Its just that DICE explicitely mentioned in the patchnotes that they remove the M416 burstmode because its not authentic. So it would have been strange to add singleshot to AN-94 if it didnt existed in real life. Anyway since AN-94 has single shot that whole discussion is moot.

Wow good changes. Too bad MAV isn't fixed. Tact light + IRNV should have been fixed long ago. About time.

And i was just playing mortar for the 1st time yesterday! And its getting nerfed. This saddens me.
At least my F2000 isnt affected except the Burst Fire thingy. Which doesnt really matter. The only time i go full auto is when the enemy is like 20-50ms infront of me.
