There isn't many games with mortar's out there, especially not FPS games. Seems really sweet for breaking enemy positions or taking out camping enemy recons and mortars. Be careful haha sometimes after one shot another mortar zeros you in perfectly and kills you. Rough game ![]()

most of the crashes are CTDs with " Battlefield 3 has stopped working " Vista 32-bit home premium intel(R) core(TM)2 Quad CPU @ 2.4GHz 3GIG RAM. NVIDIA N275GTX 896MB DDR3

So. My old squad told me that they are coming together for BF3 - but I have some questions. In a clanwar : -What weapons do you play with ? Is everything unlocked ? Only the stuff you previously unlocked ? Is everything locked ? Obviously it has to be the same setting for all or this game is of absolutely no interest to me. - Are the maps too big for 8v8 or do they play out good enough for that. - Should I wait for a patch or is it fairly balanced ... Thanks.

Thanks. Regardless of unlocks, it's not that hard to unlock a particular class or two. The highest useful unlocks for any particular weapon tend to be by 100 kills (the IRV) anyways, which really would be the minimum you want to use a weapon to be used to it anyways. The only unlocks I could see being a problem having are the squad-buffs. Since those can require some decent ranks, it may be tough to get everyone high enough for them (for casual players). At least the first squad-buff you get is sprint which is probably one of the four you'll use. Maps have different versions with less capture points and less vehicles for modes such as 8v8 so they shouldn't be too big. As for balance, I think it is fairly close. There are a few problems such as flashlights needing to be nerfed a bit, but you could simply agree ahead of time "no flashlights"
