I haven't really tried online, but I can already tell that it will disappoint awell...in consoles atleast. Excuse me, but I find this post amusing. EVERY single website that covered bf3, be it a magazine, be it a community, told you months ago that it would be just another generic fps campaign (although I liked the jet and the tank mission). This game is about the multiplayer, and if you play it on a console it's pretty much your own fault.^^ On pc it's a blast. I try not looking at preview of games I'm looking forward to, I like going in with as little spoilers as possible. I felt kind of forced to get it for consoles though, I don't have the monies to get a good PC to play this, I'm just poor as hell now
The campaign is mostly there to prepare you for multi-player.

If you can't connect to the singleplayer - which your other posts indicate - you have serious problems with your computer or configuration. It's unlikely to be EA's fault.
Have you checked your router for ports? Have you disabled all antivirus and firewalls? Can you log into origin? Battlelog? Can you ping EA's servers?
Need a lot more information, preferably without having to search your history.

Except it doesn't at all, because it has aim-assist, so it actually makes you worse.

How the fuck are you supposed to attack when everyone is camping and there is only one way in. Stop playing rush. It's awful. Only way to play on console really
Uhhhhh, not at all??? What would make it any different than conquest
And campaign doesn't do dick to prepare you for MP lol. Just hop in and play. MP is all about understanding the maps. That's like 80% of the game right there. Pressure the right spots and rack up kills even if you're not particularly accurate.

Campaign wasn't that bad but those fucking QTE's were really annoying.

Only time I messed up a QTE was the bomb disarm in last co-op mission. Friend thought a flashbang went off till I explained him we were dead. Though he did the same thing next run...
Anyway I didn't think they were that bad. Although I've played bunch of games with them before so I've gotten used to them, just need to avoid taking your hands off the keyboard and mouse even when you lose control of your character.
I had so many glitches in campaign though, like the fistfight in the end my opponent was literally invisible to me for the entire duration. Also I had to restart Comrades mission several times due to the AI's vanishing somewhere and me getting stuck due to that. Not to mention massive sound issues through the entire game, I didn't have these in MP and CO-OP though.

I'll give it a chance, but only because it's the TL server. Historically, in my experience, hardcore modes generate more campers and snipers, and for me that is less fun. So I'll give it a chance, but if I'm not sold on it I'm gonna have to find a different server....Even if that means sacrificing all the fun I've had beating you and your buddies.

wow im so pissed right now.... theres this 3man squad in the opposite team that just flys the littlebird. one flying the other 2 doing nothing but repairing the whole time....... u cant do anything against it. i disabled this guy like 6 times with my heli but it was repaired to 100% 2 seconds later.
so fucking retarded

Had fun playing with you Tlers last night? How do I get into the [TL] clan, or is it just a tag that I can put on.

1) HC is baaaaaaddddd. 10% supports, 40% engineers, 50% recons, 100% camp and rockets fest. I mean, I dominate on HC servers because assault has the best weapons for direct engagements, but come on...
2) Auto-climb is driving me insane. Want to get in through a window? Out of luck. 20 cm high object? Out of luck.
3) On the bright side: F2000 unlocked. :D

The thing i hate most about bf3 atm is rocket spaming everywhere on every map.. wherever you go, you get hit by 15 rockets then you hide to heal and you get another 20 in the face. They should remove all rpg type weapons from non vehicle maps.

I played my first Rush round today (in Bf3) and what you are saying is exactly why i hate Rush. Conquest isn't that bad, but god Rush is just so awful.

F2000 is so broken =/. 850 rounds per minute -.-. You can kill people even if they've been shooting you for a whole 2s.

so i type :not sure if team retarded, or just play cod.
sheer laughs were had as almost ALL of them defended cod as the "pro" sport game.
i get banned from server.
oh you Its like everyone has severe memory loss or is so far down the CoD bashing bandwagon they dont notice their bias. This shit happened ALL the time in BF series, eg karkand BF2, every man and his dog on US didnt bother with the objective, just sniped or player support sitting behind a fence chucking endless nades.
It's the fashionable thing to do. If players camp and snipe from spawn, it's because they're they're cod players. If they rush and die, it's because they're cod players.
I've played both games and haven't really noticed a difference between the "quality" of the players. Players ignore objectives equally in both games.
Inconvenient truth here: I found the pure FPS skill level to be a bit higher in CoD since you can't really be useful in that game if you can't shoot stuff (in BF3 you can get top score without killing much of anything).
