Do you really think we haven't talked it over and over again? We get it - it's fucking awful but there is nothing we can do.

I've recently discovered spam repairing the littlebird with your friend pilot is funny as hell. We survived for like 10 minutes of straight stingers on davamand peak because between flares and endless repair we just wouldnt die
Then he got shot out of the pilot seat and we fell infront of a tank
Throwing C4 on a Jeep and driving into tanks is always fun

How do i dodge him and get behind him since there's no easy way (to me at least) to dump speed...?
If he is competent in his MG aim, there is no way. As soon as you bank you'll present an even easier target and get destroyed. It kinda sucks in that if you are versing a competent pilot and get him down you have to spawnrape the runway otherewise if het gets up and see you out of position you will die
ya, i'm getting better at that... i still prefer the chopper control over the jets (especially the ones where the pilot can launch missiles... Viper and Z11W?)
Z11W has 2 miniguns no missiles.
This is wrong. Little birds can unlock missiles just like jets and attack helis.
I had the greatest moment since release last night. I was on the second floor over D on Seine. I didn't mean to be there and my squad was below me. I didn't want to double back.. they were just outside the windows.. Okay everythings good I'll just blow out the window. with a rocket.
Smooth, without breaking a run put a rocket in the wall. The debris from the falling wall kills one person and I kill a second as I'm landing. Double kill with 80s fucking action hero style.

They have said that it won't be exactly Strike at karkand. It will be a version of SaK after Battlefield 2, so more ruins, destruction and what not i would assume.
But yeah, the dlc will have 4 old BF2 maps and Karkand is one of them, I just hope they don't diminish the map sizes and i hope they keep the maps almost identical.

The first is a article of the German gaming magazine GameStar on their website. They hired a professional lawyer to analyze the ToS of EAs Origin and the result was devastating. EA enables themselves to gather like all the information on the computer and process the data, possibly leading to massive privacy violation.
"Origin analyzed my tax program!" On the Amazon forums the Origin program caused a massive outcry. People used Process Monitor to scan Origins behaviour and posted pictures of the program accessing files of their tax management program
I don't doubt this for a second. Back in Alpha, I had some technical issues. Going to Technical Support, they asked me for my account name. Giving it to them, within 2 minutes they knew EVERY program I had running on my computer, EVERY process. EVERYTHING. They told me which programs to shut down. Granted it worked, but holy fuck that was creepy.
The best part of this all, however? Even if you remove Origin entirely from your computer, the Spyware remains. The only way to remove the Spyware they have on your computer is to Format it. "We reserve the right to store and sell any information found." That's right. If Johnny makes the next big song hit, and they find the .mp3 on his computer they reserve the right to take it and sell it. Granted that won't happen, but they reserve the right to. You basically forfeit any right to privacy, to EA, the biggest fucking-you-over company in existence to play a god damn game.
For those of you who will go "huur just because it can and does scan every file on you computer, doesn't mean they want the information. Besides, nothing to hide nothing to fear duur", fuck you.
Imagine if you bought a car, but in the fine print of the deal it said "oh, also we're going to rummage around every inch of your house. We won't do anything with what we find, trust us". That shit would not fly. This is HUGELY open to exploitation, both from EA and others. This is a massive breach of peoples privicy, and the fact that you're saying "Well, I don't care because I want to play generic shoot no.5000" sickens me.
I hope EA gets sued to hell and back for this. This simply can not be legal.
If I'm missing something, do tell me. Because I am one step from formatting my computer just to remove this crap.
Their support is outsourced to nobodies in india, they do not have access like that to your PC, that's just ridiculous. I mean that's some major tinfoil going on. And having to format your computer? Cite your sources because I am pretty sure you are just going full retard with this origin stuff in a way we have yet to see.
As far as scanning that guys tax program, when Origin is first installed it scans for games in logical places, it scans your registry, program files folder, and program data. it does not read every file it simply looks for games. This guys tax software was saving his information in his program data folder, which every user on his PC could access just as easily. Basically he was an idiot. Origin did not read anything but the filenames, or send information to EA, or anything of the sort.

Friends of mine whom have deleted Origin have confirmed to me that the Spyware, or as "Scanning Software" that was put on their computers was not deleted with it. In fact, there was no way to actually delete it. The only way to remove it, like all Spyware, is to Format or to fuck with registry for a few hours.
The fact that retailers in Europe are taking the drastic measures they are over this, gives it more merit. The fact that they had access to know every single program I had up within minutes of getting my account info is scary. Did you even read the article?
I'm not trying to sound tin foil. I want to believe that this isn't as bad as I'm hyping it up to be because this game is awesome, but holy fuck.

Check out the bouncing shot against the chopper haha.
Yeah, I unlocked them last night I think I even posted something about them on here. After all the fails even when you hit they don't do the damage I feel they should.
On October 30 2011 17:57 Torte de Lini wrote: Fly straight-up when locked on by stingers, you'll be out of range before they get a lock.
You don't need heat-seeking for helicopters. Most AAs or Stingers will get them or you'll pretty much shoot them down with bullets (slow down and just line 'em up, ezpz).
I prefer Flares with Stealth. Gives me more time to get within my AA buddy or enough time to stall at the skybox rim and lose the lock. Getting hit by bullet damage just involves tricky play with sharp turning and boosting or braking hard.
While I agree somewhat I never use a chopper without Heatseekers when I pilot helis on a server like TL where choppers have insta spawn you're shotting down choppers for the first 10 minutes until people are scared of the skies and let you have free reign of them

Personal experience is "proof", and going "WELL DID HE ALSO TELL YOU ALIENS EXISTED?" is not a logical counter-argument. I'm starting to feel like you didn't even read my original post, nor the article.
Them knowing every program and process running on my computer by simply knowing my account name and not being able to remove their "scanning software" by removing Origin, and them "reserving the right to take, and sell anything found" (as said in their EULA/ToS) and reserving the right to ban you for anything found on your computer (again, in EULA/ToS) is what is scaring me.
I'm not saying "ITS A CONSPIRUSHEEEEE" but to deny that Origin is pretty fucking shady is just denying truth.

Where is the spyware after deletion of the origin client located? Please be specific, so others can doublecheck that information.
No, your personal anecdotes are not proof at all. If Origin leaves spyware on your PC then clearly you can tell us where and how it is stored on your drive.
Who is the "they" that know everything about your PC? The random Indian support center employee you spoke to in alpha?
And please cite exactly where in the eula it says they can take and sell anything on your PC. An actual quote directly from the eula please, not a forum post with an image of someone burning a 360 case, not someone's interpretation of the eula passed down from a blog website. An actual, verifiable excerpt from the Origin eula that explicitly states they can do what you claim they can.
I don't deny anything, I am asking for some proof to your claims, and in the absence of proof I am going to make the reasonable assumption that the practices of EA are no better or worse than the practices of every other always on DRM client that I have used.

Who is the "they"? Take a 1st grade English class and learn about Pronouns, it may help in this situation. If some random Indian man (well, he was not Indian -- was a very helpful British man now that I think about it) can access all my Program Files, what makes you think anyone in that company can't access your data? Are you denying the fact that Origin scans your computer for "marketing information"? They have outright stated this in multiple interviews and announcements.
2. Consent to Collection and Use of Data.
You agree that EA may collect, use, store and transmit technical and related information that identifies your computer (including the Internet Protocol Address), operating system, Application usage (including but not limited to successful installation and/or removal), software, software usage and peripheral hardware, that may be gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, dynamically served content, product support and other services to you, including online services. EA may also use this information combined with personal information for marketing purposes and to improve our products and services. We may also share that data with our third party service providers in a form that does not personally identify you. IF YOU DO NOT WANT EA TO COLLECT, USE, STORE, TRANSMIT OR DISPLAY THE DATA DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION, PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE APPLICATION. This and all other data provided to EA and/or collected by EA in connection with your installation and use of this Application is collected, used, stored and transmitted in accordance with EA’s Privacy Policy located at www.ea.com. To the extent that anything in this section conflicts with the terms of EA’s Privacy Policy, the terms of the Privacy Policy shall control.
Granted many companies use a very similar form of idea, however, let's take Steam for example. Their clause of collection of data is restricted exclusively to Steam and Steam Products. That's all their Scanning, is your "Steam" folder to verify its own files, which is perfectly acceptable.
EA’s is so broad that it gives the publisher permission to scan your entire hard drive, and report back absolutely anything you may have installed, and indeed when you may use it, and then pass that information on the third parties. And then even more creepily, they say they intend to take such information, combine it with personal information about you, and use it to advertise directly to you. However, when selling on this free-for-all on your computer’s contents, they’ll at least remove personally identifying information. Gee, thanks
Again, this is not a CONSPIRUHSEE!!!!!11!, but it is fucking stupid and should be made known.
Also, there is a pretty interesting video out there I saw a few days ago of a person using the OriginSetup.exe, and when he quit the installation before accepting the ToS when he denied it, the "Scanning Software" was already installed on his computer. Before accepting the ToS. If you're interested in that, I'll go give that a find as well.
"Going to Technical Support, they asked me for my account name. Giving it to them, within 2 minutes they knew EVERY program I had running on my computer, EVERY process. EVERYTHING. They told me which programs to shut down. Granted it worked, but holy fuck that was creepy." to which I asked, who is this "they" that know everything. The lizard people? They can be used as a gender neutral (or species neutral in the context of lizard people) singular pronoun, but thanks for the English lesson
I don't see where it explicitly states it can take and sell anything on your PC. There is nothing in there about selling anything.
And again, you aren't providing any proof of Steam's benevolence here, you're comparing one made up fantasy Eula to another.
All these shocking allegations are very clear and direct in their attempts to paint EA as rotten to the core evil, but then everyone seems to falter when it comes time to prove any of them. You're just regurgitating the same sensationalist bullshit and somehow managing to make it even less credible by mixing in your own anecdotes about your close and personal friend who is also some sort of hot shot spyware investigator who can find hidden EA files that no one else in the world knows about.
