Yes, though they have added some things like:
Origin will uninstall steam
Origin will trace your every movement
They can use your pc at any time and for anything
If you at any point choose to remove Origin from your pc, your soul will be lost
There might be more in their EULA that I'v missed

Ok, now for a real answer? I'm tired of sorting through half fearmongering and half apathetic responses to their policies to figure out where the truth lies. If it says something like "we'll use your email to spam you with ads with no opt out" then I might just make a new account for origin only  .

Yeah metro is way too difficult for attackers without lots of medic spam. Today the other team was tons worse and we still lost at the final objective on the outside (Which has way too much bloom on the floor btw).

I'm new to battlefield but if you are killed by a headshot does it not appear as a headshot?

Anyone have advice for sniping? The more I play the worse the hitboxes and netcode feel. There are times where I'll unload a full clip into someone and somehow miss them entirely from only 20-30 meters away. Other times I will go 20-0 sniping people from across the map. It's extremely hit or miss and I'm constantly having to adjust my aim to figure out what the magic spot currently is.

The only hitbox is the head, which is an instagib. It will give you +10 for headshot bonus. Otherwise you need to just hit the target.

Yes don't write down BF3 until you play Conquest. BF isn't BF if you aren't playing with vehicles/jets/helis!

The inconsistency you're feeling is probably the bullet spread when firing full auto and not being adjusted to bullet drop. Watch where your bullets go when you shoot an AR full auto - they can shoot pretty damn off of the crosshair.
The hit detection has been incredible so far, pretty sure any issues that seem like hit detection issues are due to lag.

*sigh* downloaded it for my xbox.... honestly the worst shooter ive ever played(except for the MoH beta). So many glitches, it freezes constantly, fall through the floor nonstop, i cant beleive they even put this out in beta. Still waiting for the PC version to download so i can try it out as well. If its not 100x better than the 360 version theres no way I'll be buying it. Very sad especially because BF2 is my favorite shooter ever, and i love almost all the other installments

Who else is sick of metro? Once release hits I'm just glad I will never have to touch another rush map again...just like in BC2 those maps feel funky as hell. I do enjoy the final area of metro but good god that park first area is brutal and just pisses me off every time.
