IF you played played BF2 why are you comparing the xbox version at all, its a known fact among the community its 100x better on PC.

As a battlefield 2 player for who know how long this makes me sad, metro doesn't feel like or should i say Rush mode doesn't feel like battlefield, i played 8-9 rounds of Caspian and i have to say it feel a little bit closer to battlefield 2, but the jets are a let down(too slow, no fly by cam, etc) I have hope in this game after playing Caspian but your right that we are not ever going to get a game that as good as battlefield 2.

Efficienty? All I can say is lawl.
There's a couple severe glitches in the beta, but I've heard the Battlefield franchise has historically been pretty good about post-launch support so the actual gameplay glitches (whatever they can't hit with the at launch patch) that are present should get fixed in time (more than can be said for most CoD titles, hah).
From what I'm hearing, it generally plays much better on PC than console.... to the surprise of exactly nobody.

Its a lot more realistic. IMO its a good balance between realism and gameplay. Gun control taken away is a lot like real life - noone can jump while aiming down sights and running. This game is the best FPS of 2011. Easily.
I'd much rather have BC2 level of realism then what was in the beta, I don't mind the vaulting as much as I mind the camera shake. I'd be perfectly fine with the recoil level and the vaulting and drop shots, if the camera would just STOP SHAKING.

Saying "its beta!" is the biggest cop out ever. Its not as if they have months to correct this.... it comes out in what? 20 days? As far as the 360 version goes they released ONE MAP+ONE GAMETYPE.... if anyone at Dice had tested this, even for 5 minutes, they could see how full of bugs it was, they don't need the public to say "oh we fall through the floor every 5 minutes, and nothing works the way it should". They could have done that in house.

Im playing the xbox version because my friends want to play it right now. Ill be playing it on PC tommorow, but i don't exactly have high hopes for it.

It's called stress-testing, it's a common phase done in beta. It's done internally amongst QA testers from various DICE or 3rd-party testing consultants to test the servers capabilities and handling. Further testing is done externally with beta-testers (invited or opt-in). such as what we are doing now.

The amount of bitching in this thread is unreal. This build isn't much past Alpha. Beta's are done to find huge bugs/stress tests not all this little miniscule stuff. If you don't like the realism of the game then go back to CoD. Anything that BF does that takes it further from CoD I'm happy for. Let me know in real life when you can effectively jump over a wall (in one continuous motion that doesn't slow you down) and aim your weapon. While wearing 80 lbs of combat gear. The one bad thing is all the "popups" of medals and ribbons and such. If you're gonna have them display it after the match, don't block my screen with it.
