I see in a few hours mods that are monetized but... not uploaded by the creator. I see that modder only get 25% of their revenue. I am stupid or does this look like a fucking robbing ? I contributed to one lonely mod in my life and it's now with my contributions out there and it could be monetized and i wouldn't get a dim (well i doubt this mod will get monetized anyway but you see the point). That's... really weird.... I wasn't feeling like making a new thread for this since i'm... not really happy about this. | ||

All i can see coming from this is talents ragequitting because someone else copied part of their work and makes money from it. Dont know if that 25% cut is going to entice professionals to do quality skyrim mods now, which would be the only redeeming fact | ||

This could have been done so much better, simple "Donate if you like the content' would be much more reasonable, but hey i guess they are preparing to make up for the fiasco that overpriced gaming room PC from Steam will be. Bethesda can also go and fuck itself with the way they never completly fix their own games and let modders do the job and now they will make profit on them fixing their game, what a disgusting day. | ||

Anyway, most of the top rated modders are against this and will not participate in this charade. Apollodown(civil war overhaul/dragon combat overhaul etc), t3ndo(skyre, perma) and the rest of the creation kids team have just announced that their highly anticipated mod, The rise of Mannimarco, will not be behind a paywall. | ||
