With the ingots you can smith silver jewelry and sell that to normal vendors. And the best is the ingots and necklace respawn after some days
Oh nice!
I'm definitely going there after. Holy moly this warehouse has a lot of cheese...

Cheese is almost as good as potions early in the game if you aren't an alchemist

I got the same thing ~5 hours into my first character, no idea what caused it.

my snowleopard lady in full armor
cost me a lot of money but I got it all on flawless quality except the glass sword that will have to wait till my smithing is higher. Smithing can be leveled ridiculy fast by just spamming iron daggers and leather wristprotectors.

maybe you missed that you have to click the weapons with the left or right mouse button according to where you want to have them?
nope, that's not it :/

So I played roughly 14 hours up to now. I chose to play a nord and originally wanted to go for two handers with heavy armor. But then I liked sneaking better and afterwards casting. So now I have a Nord caster with two handers and light armor, which makes stuff sometimes a bit complicated, because I neither have enough magicka for constant casting or the perks two handed combat.
But the game is great, besides my strange skill selection.
Btw.: How do I kill Trolls effectively, because they seem to regenerate health faster than I deal damage to them-

I'm 99% sure the advice in the spoiler below is correct but that particular event is quite some time in my character's past and I might be confusing it with another. Your level should be fine.
+ Show Spoiler +If you mean fighting with the Stormcloaks against the Imperials, you go up to the drawbrridge, jump down the gap, follow it round and climb up round the side. Infinite respawn enemies so just open the gate and carry on in. Get to the Jarl and force him to surrender.

I did not really feel like walking all the way back to Whiterun so I took the fast-travel option.

Damn, I cant fully concentrate on this game before christmas, so one hour a day has to do it for now.
Q: How many spells (normal ones, not the dragon signs) are there in the game? Does the "Destruction" animation (fireball) change as you level up your spells?
Thx

the armor you see is Elven armor I made that one around level 13 I just leveled my smithing like crazy.
The glass sword I found in a dungeon in a chest. Currently I am level 21 and if I wanted to could start smithing my glass armor now :D

I havent started smithing yet... Do I have to specialise in one type of armor/weapons? Or are the perks just genneral for all smithing? (got like 8 perk points and havent used them yet)

So I picked this up yesterday at noon, and played for 12 hours straight.... pretty fucking awesome game. I had planned on being a backstabbing thief, but I just end up playing what feels natural to me, which is Archery, Sneak, and Sword and Board(and for some reason Alchemy lol). Really liking the game. Im at the point where im supposed to visit the greybeards or w/e but i'm just doing a bunch of random things right now.
This is actually the furthest I've ever gone into the main quest of an Elder Scrolls game lol. I put ~200 hours into Morrowind and the furthest along i got in the main quest was talking to the first guy in Balmora.
Also how come when I bought my house one of the beds is owned.... and how come whoever owns that bed has a nicer room than me.... in my own damn house.

Does this game have level scaling enemies (I tolerate just a tiny bit of scaling as long as it serves the gameplay)? Is loot random or does it scale too?
Does this game need mods like Oblivion did or are we good to go right now? Oblivion with the right mods like OOO was so good, I hope Skyrim doesn't require all the hasle.
