If you don't know where that is then in Whiterun behind the Jarl's throne there's a room with a map and a bunch of little red flags. Activating these will give you locations of basically all of the bigger towns on your map. Now you just have to carriage yourself to the closest town (carriage is near Whiterun stables) and then walk to Ivarkstead. 2) Once you're in Ivarkstead, just follow the map marker or the ridiculous amount of stone steps going up the mountain, you really can't miss it.

It's from a tome, you can get it from most wizards and definitely from the College of Winterhold Thanks I'll check that out By the way, need some build advice. I'm level 13. I kind of got a bit of everything, but I'm leaning towards a Thief character right now. Trying to get the second Thieves Guild armor to mix and match with my Dark Brotherhood armor. I got 2 into Archery, the like x18 damage backstab, some 1h damage, and some destruction talents as well. My question is this: As only level 13 (and I hear it goes up to 50), would it be viable if I were to stay in more or less regular Thief armor to put a shit ton of points into Conjuration and whatnot and start incorporating a lot of supportive magic into my fighting style, while also picking up the dual wield specializations and shit like that?

The way the levelling system worked in elder scrolls just required you to grind unused skills to level efficiently (get the 5+ attributes bonus). I've been checking some streams on twitch, game itself seems to be worth its money. Dual wielding spells, OMG! Leveling works like this: When you do actions (hit shit with a sword, lockpick, smith, etc.) you get xp for that specific talent. As you progress the individual talents, your level XP bar goes up. When you level, you pick an attribute to raise by 10 and you pick a perk.

Dual wielding spells, OMG! all skills now contribute to leveling up, no atributes at all anymore, each lvl up you can increase HP, fatigue or magica. Instead of attribute gain each level you now get to choose one perk. Perks can be anything from % more damage over special attacks and decapitations to being able to craft special armor. The system is quite good because you still get to build a special char, but are not forced to use certain skills/not use certain skills just to get a good level up.

I guess I will get it for pc after all. I agree with you, that page told me I wouldn't be able to play dragon age 2, bought it anyway and I could play it with high graphics without much trouble. Anyway, I'm jealous of all of you guys who are playing it already, I've been trying my best not to watch streams to not spoil myself ![]()

Guessing by the etheral bow and arrows, a bound bow spell? ^_^ FYI - I got this game to run on a laptop with an i5 2520m / gt 540m / 4gb RAM with medium graphics, roughly 50 FPS. On High it runs pretty slow but is actually still playable Would be pretty much play-perfect on low i would guess. Still glad im running it on ultrahigh with my PC though :D The missus can have her shitty laptop lol

In Ivarstead there's a bridge that leads straight to the stairs.
