I saw in game somewhere that if you sheath your weapons guards will sometimes stop attacking you and arrest you.

I got quests that basically send me around the entire damn world and I'm confused what to do. Basically everything is slapping my shit right now. I got a quest to go assault Northwatch Keep with some guys, to go hone my skills at some place in the far North form High Hrothgar, to go assassinate this teacher lady for this kid, and to go kill an Ice Wraith for the Stormcloaks. I'm so confused where I should even start, or if I've been blowing through content too fast or something.
does not matter at all dude. Do what you think will be the best. It's your choices, and they don't afect the other quests. Just play the game as you feel like, its the right way to play .

he probably has allready such a high bounty that the guards will kill him on sight anyway. It's his own fault only thing that helps is reloading or being lucky and getting through to the Thief Guild there you can pay for your crimes too.

Hey guys, have anyone done the quest "Recover Andurs' Amulet of Arkay"? You're supposed to find an old priest's amulet in the Whiterun Catacombs. I've been searching for like 40 minutes now, looking at every wall about 5 times. Can't find it. Is there many bugged quests? And should you just skip them and do them later (when they're patched)?

i dont know my fps, how do i enable a counter?
But i am pretty sure i have almost 60 fps all the time because if i would have noticed any stuttering, i would have tuned the shadows down (i find shadows failry useless for the performance hog they are). everything below 30fps is unplaybale for me, so my feeling says i have 50-60fps in skyrim.

You can check fps via the program Fraps. You can also take printscreens with Fraps ingame.

Thanks Termit, wow I feel dumb now. Way too used to the questhelpers in WoW...

So in the menu I can only equip things to my left hand...no matter what mouse button i use. Am i doing something wrong?

This game is such a different game in Third Person, and it's so much more fun in my opinion. Flashy lights from spells don't get in my face and blind me, I get really good situational awareness, the animations are fucking god tier for a Bethesda game -- or any game for that matter.
There is so much shit to do, I literally don't know what to do next because there is just SO DAMN MUCH.
+ Show Spoiler [For you Smiths needing Iron] +There's a bandit camp, with a huge tower in the South East by that huge lake. Inside of the camp underground, there's this room that has a shit ton of supplies. I think I got ~15 iron ingots, 3 silver ingots, and some other really helpful shit for crafting. Go check it out.

well, ofc you have 30 fps if you run fraps in the background?

Every time theres a kill animation i have to change my pants ...

This game is so fucking amazing. I've been playing it for about 8 hours now, and everytime i get to a 'viewpoint', Im just amazed. I just now noticed, that larger animals actually go hunting for smaller animals, deer, rabbits etc. Seeing tigers jump around in a river trying to catch a rabbit just made my day :o

Oh this game.. so awesome<3 I was fighting a dragon and fled to a bandit camp. The dragon flew over and roasted all those bandits! SIICCCK:D

Only problem im having is not enough health potions. Its probably cause i never back away from a fight and if i stumble upon a dungeon i clear it immediately :D Worst of all i cant find the recipe for health potions anywhere. Also - whats the deal with crafting in a forge ? Right now i can crafft leather and iron. However i got silver/ebony and much more resources. Do i have to increase the smithing skill to be abe to craft for example silver arrows ?

haha love the 45 minute treks through the wilderness.. I thought I would be annoyed but the world is just so beautiful A+

Have put ~10 hours into this game so far. the amount of stuff you can do is INCREDIBLE, i'm barely into the main-storyline at all and have tons of quests. the visual effects are, simply put, incredible.
the one issue i'm having is that my game will randomly (i think it's randomly, haven't figured out a consistent pattern yet) crash to the desktop, without an alert message or any type of error message... anyone know what to do? i've adjusted the levels of quality from low-ultra without an effect on the crashing, so it isn't related to video i believe

This signaled that you wished to surrender, and they would react depending on how much you pissed them off. It might be the same way in Skyrim.
Yes, I know that. The mechanic has changed.

Thanks, I'll try this. If it's kind of like RNG, you run around a bit and they catch you that will be fine. Testing now, thanks.
edit: worked! I was always fighting back because they wouldnt stop chasing me. Anyways, anyone know how to repair charges? the menu came up but i closed the tutorial because i was in an epic fight.
