It was just patched a while ago. Verify your game integrity and you will download a 7mb patch. My lag solved itself form doing this. Went from playing 1280x720 normal settings to 1680x1050 high.
Can someone confirm this? I'm at work at the moment.

The new stealth bomber is stupid. It kills you even if you're indoors. Even more fun on Nuketown -.- The voting mechanic for stages is good, but can be annoying. You can vote for the stage you just played, the next one, or a random one. Played Nuketown three times in a row because apparently people find clusterfucks fun.

Nuketown is horrible with many people, often been killed by a helicopter when trying to spawn, again and again, other than that, Ballistic Knife and Tomahawk are absoloutly wonderful.

In S&D its one of the worst maps there is. Glad Treyarch made that granade thing, when you are throwing a granade at the start of the round, it won't be lethal till xx seconds.

hmm I wonder why sys_configureGhZ is locked and so low. Cod4 had it set to 13+ while blackops has it set to 0.1. gonna figure this out.

I can confirm that there was a 7mb patch that I grabbed about 18 hours ago, but it does not help the stuttering issues in multiplayer.

would you guys say its worth buying the game for PC? im waiting till later tonight to potentially buy the game off steam after my midterms are over. if not, gonna go ahead and save up the 60 for a ps3 + gt5

i dont know about other part but the vietnamese part is horrible... the story is modified, the voice is in the wrong dialect and the language is COMPLETELY wrong, no one use those dialog in combat as well as real life.
Also most the weapon vietnam side has back in that time is AK47s which were provided by russia, unlike all those facy shits you could find in the game... even a nade has to be made by wine bottle back then...

that patch might be part of the data collection going on right now.
they tweeted that they've been collecting DXDIAGS and stuff all day from players to come up with a fix for the less fortunate pc players.

I haven't had a chance to get to play all too much, aside from the technical issues...the game definitely has more staying power for me than MW2. Some of the maps definitely are an improvement, while some just don't make sense. What I've noticed and liked a lot is that having an SMG vs Assault really feels different. It's difficult to explain but in BO it definitely feels like I'm carrying a gun type. And the game has recoil!
Still getting use to not being able to point and hold mouse button.

I have it for pc and so far it's pretty good. I hate Claymores, but yea overall the game is good. If you want to rank fast. I suggest domination on nuketown haha so hectic, but still fun.

While you're sprinting, press the key for going prone (default CTRL on PC) and your character will do that jump in whatever direction you're moving.

Apparently multiGPU is set on by default, while multiple cores are not. There's a few other tweaks listed that might make a difference, or hopefully stop the occasional stuttering.

Until the stuttering issues get patched its back to CS/COD4 for me. Why is it so fuckin hard to release a non-buggy ass game? ESPECIALLY when its using the SAME fuckin engine as the last 3 releases? Almost makes me wish I had a console to play this on but then I'd have to play it on a console. Can't even return it because I got it through D2D .. sigh.

This is not a magic fix, though. Anyhow for those looking to get the game for the PC: Wait until they definately fix the stuttering... otherwise you may be unlucky and not be able to play multiplayer anyhow.

the game is good, they just need to fix the spawns IMO. There were a few maps where I literally spawned and was shot in my back atleast 10 times in a match. Also its been taking more shots to kill someone than MW2. I know it isnt MW2, but I thought it would be atleast similar and realistic. But there are some pretty awesome things about the game, like buying weapons, and gaining points from completing the challenges. A lot of cool features, I just think they need to fix the spawns, and possibly the shooting problem.
Anyway if anyone wants to play add IntoTheBush
