Boros wasn't looking too good until they printed 3 cards that basically say, "fuck you," to Sphinx's Revelation, creature mirrors, and sweepers (in the form of Frontline Medic, Aurelia's Fury, and Boros Charm respectively). Also, Skullcrack.

Dimir was looking to be the frontrunner of good, Standard-playable cards in the set with the inclusion of Cipher + control magic in an Esper-style deck. But now with these new Boros and Gruul cards revealed, it's certainly possible that the aggro and midrange decks (I'm looking at you Naya) can just end the game before control can really lock the game down.

Orzhov still needs to have some things revealed, like their charm and keyrune, along with some other Orzhov rares and uncommons, as Dimir and Orzhov have the fewest revealed cards now I believe. I can see the keyrune for Orzhov being 2/2 and lifelink, and their charm being something like -3/-3 to target creature, or all creatures gain deathtouch until EOT, or counter target creature spell unless it's controller pays 2.

But yes, I suspect Bonfire's price will drop after people swap it out for Aurelia's Fury, as the Fury seems better suited for creature mirrors. For example, I suspect we'll see a lot of combats look something like Champion of the Parish + Silverblade Paladin + Frontline Medic swinging in, and after battallion trigger occurs, Fury for 3 to clear the blockers, shoot some at the face, and probably deal 15+ damage on the swing.

Deathtouch unlikely for keyrune, more likely lifelink. None of that is too relevant, the Charm is where its at. Boros and others will be popular soley because the format doesn't have a iconic aggro deck, the RB aggro deck is like a mishmash of solid creatures with suboptimal spells (Pillar/Searing isn't by choice).

Aurelia's Fury at instant almost feels like its a negative in a format where people play Dispels consistently.

Either case, I'll be fishing for that tempo deck once Gatecrash spoilers complete.

That Boros Charm appears incredibly powerful. It looks even more powerful than most of the other charms.

If Aurelia's Fury is cast in response to an opponent playing a non-creature spell, that non-creature spell would still resolve, because it has already been 'cast', correct?

I believe so. The card looks ridiculous regardless, I wouldn't be surprised to see control lovers playing the medic that counters x spells just to have some leverage against it played during their upkeep.

Correct. I can't imagine wizards printing a card that reads: "1WR: Counter target noncreature spell. {cardname} deals 1 damage to that spell's controller" and this card would be MILES better than that.

Note that this isn't the reason, just a way to think about the card. Also consider cards like Silence and Orim's Chant. Those would be hilariously unprintable if they countered any spells on the stack as well.

Counterspell decks might start coming back since a lot of the good cards will now NOT be uncounterable.

Been doing some proxy practice with RB splashing W, with Thailia, Medic, and Aurelia's fury, and it's running the gauntlet pretty well, I think something like 15-2 in my circle vs bant control, indestructible 1 or 2 drop (sometimes more)/Medic/Hellrider turn 4s are just insane.
