Actually Vindictus runs on the Source engine, Aion runs on CryEngine, so they are different. Plus Aion wasn't Nexon, it was NCSoft.

The fighting looks rather cheesy, and from the video not even really strategic, but maybe it's a difference experience.
All the environmental objects seem really nice, but most of them seem really lame, like crazy unrealistic, but I guess you need to have a bit of give in a game.

as the OP, could you elaborate? how intensive is this game to run on the cpu?

I'll let you know once I've played it a bit. I'll be installing it on my laptop, (which runs sc2 on medium solidly)

From my experience, any dedicated graphics card released within the last 5-6 years will run it fine on normal or slightly lower settings. I can run the game on highest with my 9800GT EE. Most of the time lag only occurs due to connections with other players during instances.
I dislike how there is no open world in this game, but... hack and slash = yes.
Also, I have one extra beta key.... we should really start a chain of beta key giving... (the problem is people googling "vindictus beta key" and then finding threads on random forums and taking keys without giving any back - for example, post above me)
My in-game ID is "synApse" (EAST) if you guys wanna add... TL guild anyone??

you realy need tactic for some boss later on , like know if he lift left leg he will use this attack , so get away fast and or use block . you need to bring chain so you can stun some boss . or javelin ( you can aim the item too ) if you hit the head you get more dmg , if you use chain hook and hit the leg he will go down ect . you can also use bomb ( some crafted are good ) and more kind of item .
also item can break when you get hit , that pretty nice .
you can repair them in instance if you bring anvil ( everyone can use it too )
you can also make camp fire ( you need to pick wood for start one ) , give big attack bonus ect .
also the game instance got option , like use no potion ( and anyway they are limit for the numbers of item you can bring , that not like you buy 99 potion , you can get only 10-12 for the whole instance normaly . , no rez option can be realy hard too , if you do them you get more ap
( action pts for level up the skill you want ) and the game can get realy hard , trust me .
and speed run are fun , like you got 10 min for finish the instance .
and if you find the game easy anyway at low level , try the hard mode , but the first boat and lvl 1-15 only show very few of the actual game and that not realy hard , not many mmorpg are hard low level anyway , so yes that easy when you start the game .
what the game did wrong , was not showing everything at the start and many people will think , ho that it . im lvl 25 and they are many stuft i dont know yet , like real profession , pvp , item enchants ( i know they are some because you get stone starting lvl 20 for them , but cant use them yet )
and seriously some boss later are just... EPIC , wait for when you do some raid higher level lol

Thanks for doing this, I probably should have done it from the beginning. Guess I had hopes people would be a little more honest and post at least one key back, but sadly it didn't happen for very long.

if anyone wants a summary on how the game plays, its core gameplay is like a 3D action game with different leveling systems for character and skills and a RPG like inventory system.
the game might play simple at first, but it starts emphasizing teamwork and being able to identify attack patterns and openings to attack with later bosses and starts punishing blind zerging.
there isn't an open world and dungeons are instanced.
