Thought Id throw it in here for those waiting out for GW2 like us. It will be a PM and/or guild only access. We plan on making an RPG-like town, much like you'd find in an mmo. Houses/Inn/Vendors/Shops/Roads/Castles/Etc. Nothing too crazy or unrealistic. Were asking you use your imagination and settle a new town with your own style and theme. Perhaps well RP a bit as different towns and civilizations come together. Between this and Civ 5/SC2/New Vegas, we should be set for a little while | ||

But hey I hope they bring back the dye system, that was actually pretty cool. The dye system got improved A LOT, which is kind of awesome especially considering how good the GW1 one was. There is an article on the gw2 website, I think it got linked to this thread aswell. As for the energy swords thing with all the classes being non-dedicated hybrids we are most likely going to stick to "recommended" weapons since not only do they give (more) stats but skills are directly linked to what you're wielding aswell. | ||

The rewards look pretty amazing, plus they scale AND you get unique pet skins for your ranger. Well worth the grind for 30points. Won't be able to start grinding them tho until I get all 3 campaigns done with a lvl 20 char. So far at 11 with Nightfall (P/W), 10 with Prophecies (N/E... I regret this), and just started lvl 2 R with Factions. I must say, based on what I heard about GW, i'm suprised by the amount of grinding I have to do to get levels, since quests seem few and far between. If there is a GW1 guild being formed to grind HoM stuff I wouldn't mind joining >.<. Might help get groups for the harder quests and such. | ||

I have up to Yak's Bend unlocked but I can't get past the healing mobs for the life of me. Trying to get to LA for the free lvl 20 heros lol. | ||

Got a tricked out Assassin/Warrior that steamrolls everything, thanks to some guildies who hlped suit him up.
