Too early in the development to call any class OP or UP, we simply haven't played enough, builds haven't been created, synergies researched.
The devs even said the players haven't even began to scratch the surface of the truly "OP" builds they found in internal testing, so that's interesting too. I'm personally excited the most for Engineer though, because of ANet saying that for BWE3 it is the "closest to release" in terms of balance and stuff.
I mean fuck, it just is the most fun looking class out there. I usually play Warrior in games because it allows for the most freedom of builds and styles. However it seems kind of cut and dry in this game. Engineer looks....fucking amazing, to say the least. Between turret builds, elixir builds, grenade/bomb guilds, support mine/turret/bomb builds, and straight up DPS builds I dont even know where to start.

Engineer is the class I've least considered for some reason...
I plan on giving it a good test this weekend.

To everyone who wants to try out and is asking for a Beta Key so they can play GW2 tomorrow needs to preorder the game for access. This will be your last time to try it before you buy it. You can just get a refund if it turns out you dont like it but if you want until launch to try the game and discover its not your cup of tea well you're screwed.
Preorder the game
Get beta Access
Like it ? Do nothing
Dont Like it ? Get a refund before release.
Simple as that.
And consider yourselves lucky because we all have had to deal with buyers remorse before i'm sure but this sort of helps us to make sure we are buying something we are interested in and actually being able to test it out like test driving a car instead of buying something and regreting it because it didnt turn out to be what you wanted.

Why do MLG events always coincide with GW2 Beta weekends?

So when does the BWE actually start? I thought maybe I had to wait until it was 12PST but apparently that's not the case either.

Anyone here who would have past experience on Guardian and/or Mesmer, and could possibly give a little overview of those? Were they fun to play or was there something that didnt feel right? Im going to roll either of those in the release, and i wont be having enough time to test them out on this last BWE.
I've read the actual class descriptions, but IMO their information value is nothing compared to actual gameplay experience, where you get to see how the class really works out.

I noticed that irninja posted a few pages back that you aren't disclosing the server you all were playing on, and that the reason should be obvious. I hate to be the naive one, but its not obvious to me. Could someone explain and/or give me some advice on how to pick a server that will be half decent at WvW? (I was pretty unhappy with just picking one randomly for the last 2 BWEs :/)
