Except if you're a HE non-caster, of course. Those get the worst of both worlds!

Mods on items arent completely random. out of 4 stats only one of them might be completely random, and the bonuses are random. But as far as re-randomizing is concerned you dont have to farm up a new gold item unless you really need to reroll that one random statistic.

ps: duelling is fun and fucking hard. as an aussie its just so much harder to dodge shit. warriors/sorcs/slayers/lancers are the hardest for me as a slayer. honestly cant kill a lancer before the draw comes up. slayer vs slayer really depends on who hits their stuns. warriors are hard to pin down, but if you're good enough you get a stun or two then you can chain them down. sorcs can stun you and one shot you so yeah, lol ![]() all good fun tho. archer/priest/mystic/zerker get owned by slayers tho. priests so squishy, one stun to dead. archers cant really evade well enough to damage you down before you own them. only duelled one mystic. and zerkers cant actually hit stuff 1v1 unless you go afk and stand still lol

This doesn't change. At 60 we only have two dodges. Us and slayers are the only classes with invulnerable dodges. Archer backstep used to be invul, but it was changed as it was deemed op (I disagree with this personally). Which is why archers are at a significant disadvantage against a Sorc 1v1. There are two ways. Out of range the lock on during the duration, or invul dodge it. Sorcs have two lock-ons, the fire damage one, and the root. The fire damage has a fly through the air in a big loop animation and is "easy" to dodge relative to the root. The root is probably the fastest lock on animation in the game, to dodge that, you just have to reactionary dodge right as you see the lock on warning come on your screen. Note that a good Sorc can easily play around with how long they hold their lock ons or in what order they use them. This is mostly speaking for warriors / slayers.

Elin and Female castanics have the smallest Because Elin and Castanic have the smallest hit box, they also have deadzones on a few skills. What I mean by deadzones is that, when you are directly hugging your target, a few of your skills will not hit if you aim it right at him. You either have to aim at an angle, or make sure you're a step away before using them. Small hitboxes aren't all good ^^;

Bandages are still good in Tera. They used to be usable while running and they were so OP they had to be nerfed because endgame bandages restore a very large percentage of life. They are still crazy good.

About the only time I will whiff a target I clearly hit is on inclines and declines. Bandages are still good in Tera. They used to be usable while running and they were so OP they had to be nerfed because endgame bandages restore a very large percentage of life. They are still crazy good. The target has to have a small hitbox too. This mostly occurs in pvp, elin - elin elin - castanic or castanic - castanic. Or on smaller mobs or minions. For warriors it's Combative strike and the first hit of Blade draw. For slayers, as far as I know, it's the skill that does increasing damage the lower your hp is. Since I've seen you soloing bams, have you ever noticed that, when you are behind / beside the BAM and it's using a frontal conal aoe skill, if at that moment you use any of the skills I mentioned above, and it syncs exactly on time, you actually get hit by the aoe skill even though you are standing beside / behind the BAM. On April 23 2012 23:52 Medrea wrote: Hitboxes are also important. Elin have the largest striking range to hit box ratio. Humans are prob next though. Females preferred of course. This is true, however, Elin swings slower. For example: If an elin and a castanic zerker were to use the exact same skill at the same time, the castanic's one would hit first, and have the potential to cancel the elin's skill or even knock the elin over.

Ummm. nope. Jump to 14 min. For warrior. For berserker go to 6. They are pretty much identical. Its not exactly a precise measurement so if there is a difference, its quite small. And no I havent noticed any problems with combative strike and blade draw. For starters I cant even activate blade draw until the end of another ability which pushes me away from a BAM. The only time I was hit by a front cone AoE when I was behind was with headlong rush with a basilisk. I assume thats what you are talking about. Im still not sure why that was happening but that was with a human female. Not an Elin.
