But, it promises 30 days for free when you purchase... but after the first night, I couldn't log in because I didn't give credit card info and select a payment schedule. I am not playing out of protest because, honestly I think it is crap. I had a lot of fun, and the GAME IS FUNDAMENTALY different than most MMO's. You have to aim and target, and your chracter has physical collison, both of which contribute heavily to making your character feel "real" in the world. I just hate the idea of having to set up a plan and give credit card info. With all the games out there right now, and all he shit going on, I could easily forget to cancel if I need to, and get hit for 80$. I'm so sick of the gimmicks. Just give me my 30 freaking days for free, like you said, came with the purchase. So far, I'm out 4 days of gameplay, and they have yet to respond to my ticket. Imma tell them to mail me a check for 200$, and I promise I wont cash it. I just want to know they have the money to support the servers like they should. How would you get hit for 80 dollars for forgetting to cancel? Unless you mean that you would forget for many months. You realize that you can enter credit card info and hit cancel right away as someone else pointed out. Also im pretty sure they have time cards for this game that you can buy, if your so worried about it, then go buy a 60 day time card and you wont even need to put in credit card information. Honestly if your so worried about forgetting there is an easy solution while still using your credit card, subscribe put in your info and immediatly cancel it, rinse and repeat everytime your game time runs out. Seems pretty obvious to me, it sounds like your just making up excuses for yourself for whatever reason.

Vanarch is a little disappointing since it is only influenced by zerg guilds who mass invite. People have been harping on the questing, and as someone who had 10 characters over 60 in WoW since it first came out, the questing does seem worse for some reason, even if the combat and graphics are better. Although maybe this can be attributed with the fascination of playing in a game that was based off of warcraft lore.

Since my friends will join later how playable is this game alone? I don't intend to go lategame of course that's not why I play a mmorpg. Just wanted to know if I should wait or not.

The character feels so heavy and slow. It's the Axe I get that but are there maybe other classes with a bit more tempo behind it? I intend to try out as many as I can anyway. Both slayer and warrior play faster than berserker. Slayer is more similar, with harder hits, while warrior plays more like rogue-type characters.

How is Tera doing? Will the developers be able to do anything or is it completely reliant on the Korean version? Is the game dying like Aion/SWTOR? Back to WoW? O.o

Are they all relatively equal in their role? Tank - Lancer best tank. Warriors can tank in normal mode instances, but not hardmodes. Healer - Mystics better in normal mode instances because of their crit aura, Priest better in hard modes due to high crit resistance of hard mode bosses. DPS - Sorceror and Slayer are by far the best two DPS. Warrior comes in at a close third and bring a unique endurance debuff, which basically lowers the defence of the target. Archer and Berserker are pretty bad overall. I don't really PvP, so I can only comment on PvE aspects. I'm an Archer.

The next patch that comes out will have enough content that it should keep things rolling. It's bringing about almost an expansion's worth of new material.

For example in WoW there was a time where mobs took a minute to kill and farming them gave good rewards (i liked that), nowadays mobs take 5 seconds to kill and you gain nothing from it. i just want the grind to be worth something in-game, after i grinded 10 hours i want to be able to go to town and buy something nice :D. Just like a proper korean game, basically :D

I have read that slayer gameplay is really simple? But warriors are half tanks?
