So it would be a real waste to get Tera and only play it for a week. Is anyone else on the same boat as me? What are you guy's thoughts about it. It's almost like Blizzard deliberately made the D3 release timing to screw Tera =( Flip Tera and D3 around and you have my thoughts. ATM D3 has like no endgame, no PvP, and no way socialize or bond a community together so Im having a hard time justifying the purchase when im probably just gonna drop D3 the moment I beat inferno.

Hmm, I'm definitely not saying D3 is the better game or anything, just more has to do with the people I play with, or whichever is more popular, as these ARE social games/mmo's after all. But yea, I'm probably same boat as you too, will definitely give Tera a real go after the D3 hype dies down and after I'm done with Inferno. But Blizz did say that Inferno will take awhile to beat (months), so it kinda big dilemma for me atm considering I'm so eager to play Tera but can't bring myself to shell out 60 bucks+ to play it for a week =(

You can probably easily get lvl 60 on Tera and get into the endgame decently as well as clear Diablo3 endgame in reasonable time just fine... 60+ bucks though? It's 32 euros here ;S Well you have to take into account that most people have school/work and most people on TL forum are playing SC2 as well. I will end up probably playing both eventually though, not gona lie. But definitely won't have the time at the start when the games are just released. So either game I choose to play first, the eagerness to play the other one is kind of what causing this bad dilemma right now =(

i would buy it right now, but not sure if my hardware will run it smoothly. sadly i missed the open beta to try it and i wont spend money on an untested game, when d3 and gw2 are to be released in the near future XD maybe someone from my friendslist will buy it and give me his eu friend key so i can test it. i'm just afraid that tera will become another fiasco like swtor, on the other hand it looks stunning and so far i really like the gameplay from the videos i saw.

It's almost like Blizzard deliberately made the D3 release timing to screw Tera =( A couple friends have told me that it's a great game and they'll continue playing it in addition to D3 and just skip GW2. However, they were the same friends that were telling me how great SWTOR was a month ago. Tera has the benefit of not being a new game, though, so the content is probably a bit more substantive.

They don't complain about ping or anything being bad. As for the other guy asking what class is best for a rogue type player, warrior.

And would I have to pay for an initial month before actually being able to play tera, make gold, buy chrono scrolls with gold to extend my game time, and so on and so forth? Would be keen. Sorry for quoting myself, just seems nobody answered this at all last time. Also wanted to know current top pvp classes, unless at this point it doesn't really matter? Slayers look fun though.
